The Smithsonian Celebrates Sanger
It’s sad that one person’s icon is another’s mass murderer. One would think the choice would be clear, but when history is disseminated based on political preference, the truth becomes a casualty. Take for example an exhibition at the Smithsonian celebrating “Women of Our Time”….
In the book accompanying the Smithsonian exhibit, “Women of Our Time: 75 Portraits of Remarkable Women,” Sanger is described as being notable for pursuing her goal of helping women “whose health had been devastated by excessive child-bearing” despite being imprisoned and attacked for advocating birth control. But Sanger, who opened hundreds of birth control clinics across the country, was also well-known for her support of eugenics and abortion.
If taxpayer monies can be used to celebrate a woman who advocated the deaths of those she deemed unworthy and useless, imagine what can happen if the same people who idolize her ideas get a greater hold on funding them.

OK, Bob, let’s imagine….. Well, they could start by declaring a national medical emergency…. oh wait, that happened Friday night. Well, then they could mandate that all people be given some sort of drug, possibly against their will with some questionable ingredients….. that does seem to be on the agenda….
I noticed, just in passing really, that FoxNews.com mentioned Friday evening that Obama had declared a national medical emergency based on the swine flu “pandemic”. Not much news coverage over the weekend with regard. Seems that the supporters of Sanger might have found a better way to skin a cat, as-it-were. If you’re inclined take a look at this blog post:
