I pray that some nut-job doesn't get wound up and fulfill what seems to be a liberal bent for sacrificing the "Chosen One" in order to 'resurrect' his policies. Only when the people begin pushing back against these liberal policies, does it scare liberals so much that they begin making statements like this. You see what they are trying to do in the wake of Sen. Kennedy's death (promote a gov't run health care systemt, when he, himself enjoyed the benefits of a free-market health care system). They realize martyrdom could be the ticket to really advancing the cause. Having Obama for the next +3 years might not be the worst outcome for the country. Let the liberals keep talking themselves into political corners and have to stand for the decisions they make. The best chance conservatives have is to continue to hold the line until next year when liberals will have to face a public that they will need to re-elect them.
