As evidence FoxNews.com has a story today about the state taking this one family's kids from the parents because they're too fat, the kids that is. OK maybe they are, but is that the state's business. I suppose that they are if the state is paying the medical bills. On the other hand, if you are a proud muslim parent and your youngster is becoming too "westernized" it's just fine and dandy if you murder them, family honor and all. Heaven forbid the state involve itself in what is otherwise just a family disagreement. The out-of-wedlock birthrate in Britain has gone through the roof over the last number of years. No, I don't have links; these are tidbits I've read through the last year or so.
