Stripped of dignity: Ladette antics in Cardiff, where drinking in the street has just been banned

Maybe she thinks it’s the drink that is preventing her from putting one foot in front of the other. Or perhaps she knows the vulgar truth and is merely trying to impress her friends. Either way, the sight is certainly not an edifying one.

The only problem with passing the torch to these people is that they’ll burn down the house.

    “proud parenting moment” – unfortunately the nanny state of Britain doesn’t seem to allow parenting anymore, unless of course you’re muslim. As evidence FoxNews.com has a story today about the state taking this one family’s kids from the parents because they’re too fat, the kids that is. OK maybe they are, but is that the state’s business. I suppose that they are if the state is paying the medical bills.

    On the other hand, if you are a proud muslim parent and your youngster is becoming too “westernized” it’s just fine and dandy if you murder them, family honor and all. Heaven forbid the state involve itself in what is otherwise just a family disagreement.

    The out-of-wedlock birthrate in Britain has gone through the roof over the last number of years. No, I don’t have links; these are tidbits I’ve read through the last year or so.

    Given the bent of our current administration, I suppose it’s only a matter of time before the USA is as lame as Britain with regard to personal responsibility and morality.
