MoveOn Email Of The Day

If this is the way they’re going to waste contributions, I say have at it.

We just finished a great new ad starring actress Heather Graham…as the public option. (Really!) It could be the funniest and most memorable ad we’ve ever produced. But with the health care debate moving fast, we want to get it on the air immediately. Can you check out the ad and if you like it, chip in?

The “funniest and most memorable ad we’ve ever produced”? Okay… and a tad sexist considering their audience.

As far as the “over 70 percent of Americans want the public option”, according to the latest Rasmussen poll “42% of voters nationwide favor the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats”. I assume that “health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats” include those that want the public option.

So who is misleading?

BTW — Here’s an informed response for MoveOn to ponder.

I must say, the message was totally lost on me. :P

America needs to move forward – one group continuously stands in the way. It’s time for MoveOn to Move Over! The group turned 11 this year, and has repeatedly been the source that drives American politics into the gutter. Stop embarrassing our nation, and move on. http://www.friendsoftheuschamber.com/moveover/

even though Heather Graham is hot, I doubt it’ll strike a cord with the 58% who don’t want universal healthcare. it’ll only strike a chord with the 42% who DO want universal healthcare..

anyway, anybody on youtube here 1 star that garbage ad

You’re right. Heather Graham IS hot.

    unfatmatt:

There was a message? Sorry, I couldn’t stop thinking about Heather.

    “The medium is the message…”

The image was mildly amusing in a slapstick kind of way, but extremely holier-than-thou. Heather Graham — she’s alright. (you guys ought to be here in south in spring time on a college campus….zowie!)

Their claim that this is “funniest and most memorable ad we’ve ever produced” is indicative of the quality, or lack thereof, of the previous ads. Where was the laugh track to clue in the clueless of MoveOn that it should be funny?
