OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?! HE WAS TOTALLY BORN IN KENYA!!!!!!111
Hahahah!! I must have read “the Nation” that day. I know I was asked many times from that point what I thought about Obama. Kenyans were particularly interested in finding out how I viewed “one of their own.” The more the question was asked the more I could give an educated response. I didn’t like him for his policies then, and I like him less the more I find out about his policies. Funny thing is that the more they learned about his policies (through me) the more they disliked the policies (and even were somewhat ashamed of what he was about. I left Kenya prior to the elections held in December 2007 so I knew enough well before the primaries began.

NASA Discovers A Ring Around The Solar System
NASA scientists have discovered a mysterious ribbon around our solar system —- a stripe made of hydrogen —- that defies all current
expectations about what the edge of the solar system might look like.
“We thought we knew everything about everything, and it turned out
that there were unknown unknowns.”
– Richard Fisher, the director of NASA’s Heliophysics Division
Our solar system is encased in a sort of protective layer called the
heliosphere, which shields us from harmful cosmic radiation.
Hahahaha, yes, that was cool then being a foreign born candidate to the senate, and if it were expedient at any time for his career, he’d admit he became a citizen of Indonesia when he lived there with his mother and her second husband. Currently it’s not an asset to him, and so we will not hear the truth.
Obama/Kenya connection – I hope that’s a legit article, as opposed to the two “birth certs” that have popped up over the last couple of months.
Birmingham Rainbow office – I think it interesting that he’s doing this just as B’ham’s mayor, Larry Langford, is being tried for bribery. Things to make you go hmmmm. Several of the comments to that article were spot-on:
“Jesse wants to keep race relations as bad as he possibly can as that’s his way of making mo money!” – things are relatively quite in AL regarding race, apparently too quiet
“A hearty Birmingham welcome to the Racist Chicago Shakedown Artist.”
“I would have thought the people of Birmingham were tired of the “carpet baggers” that have held them back over the past 100 years.” – Indeed!
@n.n – “We thought we knew everything about everything, and it turned out
that there were unknown unknowns.” – Nice quote, anyone that even has a thought that we “know everything” about anything is arrogant and an idiot.
PB-in-AL:
I am especially comforted when people with knowledge preserve their integrity, and admit their incomplete knowledge. To admit as much, ensures we will have the opportunity to progress. For the rest, arrogance will be their undoing.
@n.n – I agree. As an I.T. person I have met WAAAY too many folks who are too insecure (or whatever) to admit they don’t know something. I have made that a prerequisite when I hire someone: are you able to say “I don’t know, but I’ll look into it” or do you just b.s. I’ve been amazed how many people are not able to admit to not knowing something.
Of course the corollary to that is to be able to admit fault when something is wrong. That’s another that is often lacking. Which of course leads us right back to the liberal problem; can’t admit error, misjudgment, misdirection, or take personal responsibility. So here we are met back at your last statement: “For the rest, arrogance will be their undoing.” — yup.
“Just adding some fuel to the fire…”

“Has anyone heard of a new outbreak of racism in Birmingham, Alabama?”
I bet Dr. King’s niece is frowning on this…
It is a genuine article. In fact when it was found in archives others emailed the author asking questions. She quickly wrote a retraction. Explaining she was not speaking about Barack Obama but Barack Obama senior. Then went on to explain that because senior was born in Kenya, the son becomes theirs too.

It is in that magazine along with a article where Socialist party member says Climate change bill will not be signed before Obama’s Copenhagen sell out of America freedom. She discusses the stories that have been painful and devastating for many nations on the continent such as the violent political fights that have led to power-sharing deals.
She also describes the stories that have been exciting, including the U.S. presidential race of Kenyan-born Sen. Barack Obama.
