Like RickH, I seemed to get sicker those years. I don't take them any more. I was wondering whether to take the Swine flu shot, but tended to no. This pretty much cements that perspective. My wife and I have been arguing about it, which is odd. She tends to be one to try natural or alternative methods of dealing with medical problems. She hates taking antibiotics just because the doctor says to if you go in with the sniffles. However, this swine flu thing has her up in arms. I suppose it's the 'mommy thing' she doesn't want the chance that our daughter, or any of us, get sick and die. I keep pointing out that it's milder than the seasonal types of flu. But she's seen some medical wonk talking about the virus 'mutating into something resistant to the vaccines' or whatever. But at this point, we're just not going to get it. After that I had a sudden allergy to chicken eggs every time I had to go and get the shot. I've not had one since and I've never been sick with the flu.
