CNN’s Rick Sanchez may read the following statement sometime today (and never bring it up again) regarding his repetition of a misquote he attributed to Rush Limbaugh on international television…
Earlier this week we provided quotes attributed to Limbaugh to illustrate why some people and players felt that Rush Limbaugh was too divisive to be an NFL owner.
Rick, it’s about time you named these “some people” you and your colleagues hide behind.
One of these quotes, which was in a column in the St. Louis Post Dispatch and in a book largely about conservatives, was refuted by Limbaugh. We have been unable to independently confirm that quote. We should not have reported it and for that I apologize. I feel it is important to hold folks accountable when they make mistakes, and that should include myself and my team.

They were “unable to independently confirm that quote” AFTER he (with others) repeated and unjustly admonished Limbaugh for it. Liberals seldom admit wrongdoing, thus I wonder if CNN’s been contacted by an attorney or two…?
People in the biz have been fired for less. If it were me, this would be too little, too late.

I know how the communists came to power in Russia and China, but I have always wondered how the Nazis achieved the same feat in the Weimar Republic. Now I know.
The greatest threat to our Republic is from within.
It further diminishes the credibility of “media matters”, when the problem set is composed of whites, blacks, and every shade therein. Is it possible to be a “racist” when one opposes an ideology that has been proven false, and only serves to exploit and enslave people in service of “elites”? I suppose the victors will determine the answer to that question.

I am guessing that, in fact, the media does not matter. So, the moral of the story is, if you are Conservative and you know it, then you are a “racist.” Of course, this propaganda is based on a false assumption. That “minorities” are not prejudiced. That they do not have special interests, and all of them are free of ancestral guilt. Let me venture a second guess. These people have not crawled outside their “ivory towers,” and they are completely ignorant of the world that surrounds them. It must be comfortable residing a state of perpetual isolation. Without remorse nor fear of accountability.
In summary, “media matters” cannot support the orignal libel, so they construct a false argument, diverse and regressive in nature.
Note to “media matters”: Review history and you shall find your answers. Do not rely on selective, agenda-centric research. That only discredits you further, if that is possible.
Once again, the left-wing lunatics continue to surpass their comrades in the former CCCP and Nazi Germany, but they keep pace with those in the PRC. I am so proud to be an American, for at least I am no longer oppressed by the “elites”, or so I thought. My mistake!

Of course they waited. You see, the people who just blindly hate rush, will long forget about any apology or retraction in time. Justified or not, they stirred up the rush hatred pot which is what they wanted. These weren’t things that rush supposedly said lately. This was all spawned because rush wanted a piece of the rams. Despite the mainstream media claiming rush is old and irrelevant, he cant let out a fart without them doing a news story on it and how the fart kinda sounded like the word “nigger” to them. Cause that’s how racist rush is! They don’t care if its the truth or not, cause its what they WANT to believe.
Most probably wont ever see the apology, it has run the one time it will probably be ran. So they will never hear about it. For those who did see it, they wont care. They will either just believe the quotes were real anyway, (just that the news couldn’t substantiate them, cause who wants to listen to hundreds of hours of rush limbaugh) or just continue on thinking rush is a racist, homophobe, etc. Or, for those who do realize the quotes were fake, will be quick to forgive, because they think rush is a racist, homophobe, etc. and has said plenty of other “racially charged” things anyway.
That’s okay, Rickie. America’s crack team of citizen journalists will ensure that the “professional journalists” are subject to the highest degree of journalistic integrity and standard of ethics. So, don’t fret, we will not allow you to falter, again, and again, and…

Rush still stands to lose millions from this. I hope he proceeds with legal action against his accusers not only for his name, but to lessen the probability that it will happen to someone else down the road.
