Why would any real journalist at a real news network be so quick to cite something that never happened, let alone an NFL linebacker who’s obviously clueless to the whole controversy in the first place?
Meantime, the Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Farrior says Limbaugh should be denied the privilege of owning an NFL franchise for comments like “slavery had its merits.”
— MSNBC’s David Shuster quoting James Farrior, Pittsburgh Steelers
When asked by sports writer Steven A. Smith asked “Let’s talk about those fans for a second, how much you want to make a bet, Tamron, that the minute Rush Limbaugh owns the St. Louis Rams that there will be people in St. Louis and in the Missouri area lining up to go see the players play? That’s what this comes down to. Again, he doesn’t have a right to…”

But everybody is not fueled by money. I mean, my mother has a saying, “Not all money is good money.” And I do think that we are at a time of bravery where people might — I don’t want to make assumptions about anyone — It is really about should this individual own a team? Should a person who says there are merits with slavery be able to have this privilege of owning a team?
— Tamron Hall, MSNBC
At some point, I think it important to look around on some websites and see what’s been said about “Potsie” Farrior and race-woe-is-me Ms. Hall. Maybe it will all be accurate, and maybe not. Depending on their public importance, maybe not much will be written at all.
But if not all the info there is correct, I wonder how quickly they’ll attempt to discredit anyone who used a website as a credible source on their character and reputation?

REAL journalists wouldn’t cite what was never said, just as REAL journalists would report ALL the news, not just what makes the Obamanation look good.
Therefore, *not* real journalists.

When your math is Republicans/conservatives=racist, then why try to do a fact check? It must be true given their bad math skills. The letter is fake but the story is true.
If Tamron Hall can make judgment calls on Rush for something he didn’t say, we should return the favor.
Tamron hall shouldn’t be working for MSNBC because I heard that she sold crack to children at the Obama inauguration.
ok I really have a problem with falsely accusing someone so I’m jsut not gonna fact check that statement and I should be good.
It’s so great to live in a post-racial world!
limbaugh should be proud in his america everyone is white now if he wants to own a nfl team it will have to be all white because the blacks refuse to play for him.
go away, enik. just go away. come back when you can develop a coherent thought.
