I can’t tell you how many times myself and other black Republicans have been called the worse of all internal slurs, but it’s nice to see that some are finally realizing that we have done nothing to black people (aside from wanting what’s best for all people), while “authentic” blacks routinely turn their backs on those whom they claim to champion.
There will be no mass outcry from black Americans about 16-year-old Derrion Albert’s death. You won’t see hundreds of us descend on Chicago, as we did in Jena, La., back in 2007 to protest charges against the Jena 6, a group of young black men who attacked a white high-school student almost as viciously as Albert was attacked.
Let’s compare body counts. Clarence Thomas and Michael Steele have killed no one. Black America’s Bigger Thomases have killed thousands. Who’s the greater threat to the race: Uncle Tom or Bigger Thomas?
While black Republicans aren’t welcome in the hood, we’ve yet to see President Obama, Jesse Jackson, nor Al Sharpton arrive in Chicago to save us from ourselves. Obviously, as we’re not talking the Professor Gates set, we are talking about the expendable. You know, the kind of people Margaret Sanger and those who idolize her today could give a damn about between elections.

I was glad to see that Kane’s article mentioned how Dave Bing got a “Sambo Sellout Award” from some ignorant Detroiters. That was after he supported opening charter schools in Detroit. He has such a hard job as mayor, cleaning up not only Kwame Kilpatrick’s mess but the entrenched tradition going back to “Hizzoner” Coleman Young.
Bing ran as a Democrat (like the rest), but he had business experience.The city workers hate his guts for all the cuts he’s making, but there’s a whole lot of people who realize that there was never a “gravy train” except for a select few – like nearly every Detroit politician who entered office middle class and left it a millionaire!
Fiscal conservatism is getting more attractive all the time, and a lot of everyday folks who generally vote Democrat are waking up to that the so-called “Uncle Toms” live in the same, real world that they do! During the Kilpatrick fiasco, the prosecutor Kim Worthy compared his behavior to a child who knows that lying is wrong – basically preemptively striking the BS attempts to defend perjury. Something similar happened just a couple days ago, when a WJR reporter found some women who didn’t know or care where the stimulus money came from, as long as “Obama” gives it to them. Schoolchildren who heard about it were discussing the ignorance of those adults – even they knew about taxes!

My bad. Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan were there. Lots of statements to the press at a funeral. I hope they were invited by relatives and didn’t just crash it.

Their game is to keep American Blacks as victims and that in it’s self is outrageous! I must add that I believe Jesse Jackson was at Derrion Albert funeral?
