Quote Of The Day

We’ve all heard the left floating death-wish warnings regarding dissent possibly resulting in the assassination of the president. It looks as if Speaker Pelosi believes that now includes all politicians because The People are irrational and capable of political homicide because they had the nerve to confront and talk back to them.

That brought the following response….

Rep. Pete Sessions

The Speaker is now likening genuine opposition to assassination. Such insulting rhetoric not only undermines the credibility of her office, but it underscores the desperate attempt by her party to divert attention away from a failing agenda.

During one of the most important policy debates of our time, the American people have been completely abandoned by those elected representatives under her control. Voters are justifiably frustrated with Washington, and the Speaker’s verbal assault on voters accomplishes nothing other than furthering her reputation for being wildly out of touch with the American people.
Rep. Pete Sessions (Texas), statement

With all due respect (and there ain’t much) Madam Speaker, killing one of you would result in the perpetrator essentially losing his or her freedom and or life, and to be quite frank, none of you are worth it.

The current order of succession to replace the President would be:

    1. The Vice President
    2. The Speaker of the House
    3. The President pro tempore of the Senate

No sane right-wing conservative would feel he/she would be better off with the first 3 in line and the cabinet would be even worse.

The President is quite safe except for the crazies and nobody claims them. In fact, I’d throw myself between a gunman and POTUS to avoid the others that would only be worse. Can you imagine the sympathy legislation that would occur?

This idiot who is Speaker of House falls prey to a common error: speech does not create an environment, it reveals one. Those who trust in social norms think if the symptoms are controlled, the problem will go away. This ain’t so and this is why no government social program can work – except to enrich the bureaucrats.

This woman is an opportunistic sniveling little liberal. She will whine and wring her hands now, because it’s her causes and her president who is being challenged. I didn’t see her fear the repercussions of the very hateful way GW was treated. I didn’t see her plead with her liberal contingent, to cease their attacks on his intellect his policies and his family. I didn’t see or hear her compel the haters in her party to use civility, when speaking of her then president.
Another set of double standards which the liberal faction of the Democratic party has deeply ingrained into it’s being.
Go away Nancy, you are a non-useful idiot. Someone ought to pour water over her. Dorothy???? Are you out there dear?

@Trishmac – watch out or the flying monkeys will come and get you (was that racist?)

Her “choking up” about the old days in SF just about made me hurl. Sorry Ms. Speaker, you don’t elicit any emotional empathy, disgust, sure, empathy — no.
