definitely a bummer. he had some interesting aspects to him, and made some good films
a fine tribute. thanks
Also, based on everything I have read he was gutsy to the end. God bless him.
He seemed to handle it with great dignity and keeping his privacy to the end. I did not care for what NATIONAL ENQUIRER was doing, posting pictures of him in his late emaciated state. Geez, have a little compassion and dignity for people. I know of 3 people within my circle that have had pancreatic cancer and all three died. It is a brutal form of cancer with almost no chance of survival. He managed 2 yrs, which is incredible. I just hope he was at peace when he passed. Great tribute, Bob.
You are at peace now Patrick, now you dance all you want. Thanks for all the great films you made….you were a great human being.
He walked through the shadow of death well. I’m sure that he died well also. He was the kind of guy who looked for the best inpeople and gave them his all.
I had the good fortune of shaking his hand and telling him how much I appreciated his work. An accident of meeting that life gives us.

God Bless his soul. He was truly a decent man with a great talent. Not only a great talent but a great sense of humor as well.

Rest in Peace.
Now, we know where John Travolta learned his Saturday Night Fever dance movies . . . Thanks for posting this.
