“Negro, Please” Of The Day

Rudely interrupted: Kanye West grabs the microphone from Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards last nightFirst he said President Bush didn’t care about black people, then he butchered his “duet” with Sting during an Earth Day-type broadcast (because he can’t sing), and now he makes a liquored-up fool of himself.

Kanye West gave a performance that will never be forgotten at the MTV Video Music Awards, but unfortunately for him, it had nothing to do with his music.

The rapper stormed on stage to unleash an astonishing rant during an acceptance speech by country starlet Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards last night. The 19-year-old singer, who was collecting Best Female Video for You Belong To Me, was left humiliated as West snatched the microphone from her hands.

He turned to the audience and shouted that the gong should have gone to his big friend Beyonce, for Single Ladies.

See for yourself…

If there’s one person in what’s now called “R&B” or rap that has one once of class, please let us know. For Kanye West’s drunken exhibition, he gets the first B&R “Negro, please” of the day.

    Quote:

an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened:

“In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.”

The White House had no immediate comment.

Okay, check this out, Papa Ray:

darn, an off the record tweet. Still it’s something, I guess.

I was told by a guy in Walmart (China West) today that Obama called Kenye “an idiot”.

I can’t find anything yet about it on the web.

The gay fish is like the annoying kid in the pool always yelling “look at me, look at me.” What a pathetic piece of shit. I don’t like Pink, but I saw a replay on the news where Matt Lauer asked her about it, and she said that Kanye would have been fucked (I paraphrase) if he would have done that to her. And I don’t doubt for a minute she would tear into his whiny ass.

Beyonce a triple-threat: pretty, talented, and classy.

ITNerd – The Beyonce vid’s been pulled. I hear MTV is really clamping down on the vids from this show.

  6. Nicolas says:

now that I think about it, I wish we as Republicans could pull a Kenye back on January 20th, 2009, get up on stage there and say “Excuse me! Excuse me! this man is not only an uncle tom for the DemoKKKrat Party, but his BIRTH CERTIFICATE states he’s from Kenya, Africa, and isn’t legal to BE president. The only LEGAL candidate was McCain, folks”

    if only that happened…

  7. Nicolas says:

that’d be great if you would post this link to HIS blog, Bob, and kick his ass!

It took me a minute to figure out the title … I’m pretty sure I won’t be quoting you. ;)

  9. Eric says:

what else did you expect from a guy who said his biggest regret is “I’ll never get to see myself perform” that and he’s a gay fish

As IT NERD stated, Absolute Class from Beyonce.

I would love to see video of Taylor’s Mom tearing Kanye a new one backstage.

If you have the time and the inclination South Park nailed Mr. West last season in a classic episode.

I hope that South Park makes a fool of Kanye again in another episode. Their first episode was a classic.

I would have to say that Beyonce’s handling of the situation when she received an award later in the show was pure class. Turning the spotlight away from herself to allow Taylor Swift her due was gracious.
