Along with the liberal spin, I might also add everyone there used deodorant, there were no adjacent windows broken, no small fires set in the street, no rhythm-challenged dancing, no trash cans and/or cars overturned, no media cameras spray-painted, no trash strewn about, and not once did anyone report of hearing “hey hey, ho ho….”
Boy, Oh, Boy
My only question to Maureen Dowd is, have you thought about why you’re the only one (so far) who heard the word “boy” in Joe Wilson’s “You Lie”…?

The Summit
An immediate shoutout to Ecotim for suggesting and making the reservation at Theismann’s.
For those of you who’ve asked, there are no pictures from The Summit. This was a long overdue opportunity to meet with some of the people who make this site as successful and influential as it’s become; not to create an opportunity for a photo op.
There were a couple dozen people there, many from different parts of the country, as well as the Canada Free Press contingent. It was a very nice evening after a long day and we just may have to do more of these in the future.

“Boy, Oh, Boy”
I guess we all heard different things when “You lie” was yelled.
1. My take? Obama misled with the “No illegals will be covered” comment.
2. Maureen Dowd’s take? – “Boy” yelled from white southern conservative.
3. Bill Maher’s take: “Go back to Africa”(His words)
I think we could a page on the sublimation and fredian slips there.
“No, Mr. President”
It will be fun to see how Obama spins this. They could not have seen that size of crowd coming. Let’s see Obama and the MSM try to “tea bag” this one.
“Hackers Imperil Wilson Campaign Web Site”
It’s ok, he’s just a white southern conservative racist. Every once in awhile, I have to remember that we are dealing with fascists here. The ends always justify the means ala Machiavelli.
“Culture in Venezuela is becoming a shantytown”
Oliver “missed” the poverty in Venezuela, just like Michael Moore “missed” the poverty in Cuba. The only reason more people don’t speak out against Venezuela is their fear for relatives/friends still in the country. But hey, fascists…I mean liberals, just LOVE dictators(another freudian “slip”).
“Obama rallies Minneapolis crowd for healthcare reform”
Minneapolis…..definitely preaching to the choir.
“Key Blagojevich adviser Christopher Kelly dead”
Chicago thug politics, a grand tradition since Capone. Blagojevich has either been warned by the higher powers or generally know nothing, otherwise something would have happened to him. Chicago thug-style doesn’t work nationally because the country hasn’t been “bitched out” like my state has.
‘US tire tariff may cost 100,000 jobs in China: industry official”
Wow, one area where I confess an “economic nationalist” tendency. Sure, we owe China alot of money, but they make a ton off of us without having to abide by the safety, environmental, tax and other regulatory rules. China is still a primary exporting economy, but playing with Chinal may blow up in their face. Still, given the current state of our economy, it may be a good move politically. I live in the heartland(Illinois) and the bitterness toward outsourcing is brutal here. If cap/trade passes, expect that s**t to accelerate.

So now our troops are going to be “charged with gathering evidence and calling witnesses on behalf of the prisoners.” Hell of a way to fight a war.
And just sayin’…didn’t want photo op…just wanted to see y’all having a great time after that monumental day.

“Along with the liberal spin, I might also add everyone there used deodorant, there were no adjacent windows broken, no small fires set in the street, no rhythm-challenged dancing, no trash cans and/or cars overturned, no media cameras spray-painted, no trash strewn about, and not once did anyone report of hearing “hey hey, ho ho….” ”
man that makes me think of the wacky left. too funny! good to know most of them were civil and decent. I haven’t the foggiest as to why there was a DemoKKKrat flag there (stars & bars), I thought that was lame, as I also thought somebody’s stars & bars hat was lame in Sacramento that I saw.
“ACORN Founder Wade Rathke Wanted Terrorist Attack on Republican Convention to Succeed”
and ACORN is suing FOX News for exposing the truth…interesting
“They’re calling the sting a conservative smear. They could have just obeyed the law…?”
and Professor Gates could’ve complied with the Cops..but that would require common sense
“Police on alert amid fears of more violence as right-wing anti-Islam protesters prepare for demonstration in Trafalgar Square”
“right-wing”? socialist wing PLEASE..
“Obama rallies Minneapolis crowd for healthcare reform”
‘Now he won’t cooperate with Republicans. Dare I say it… you lie?’
he does and has

‘But that could split the Democrat vote…! Shhhhh’

“Tea Party Speaker: ‘I Thought You Would Want to Hear a Black Man Speak to You Without a Teleprompter’ ”
I love that and the “rope and chains” line. FANTASTIC!
“[the summit] was a very nice evening after a long day and we just may have to do more of these in the future.”
if you come out to California, it’d great if you could plan a California summit somewhere.

It sounds like Obama’s Minneapolis Town Hall had only his supporters to sell it to, just like he has at others. I would wager he has still not read the Health Care Bill. I sent a copy of the Bill to some Liberal Friends today, all 1018 pages of it. I told them to read it for themselves, but I doubt they will. They sucked up all of Obama’s cool-aid & also said it is a race thing. Libs, why do I even try! The Libs are really bugged by Tea Party marchers & will be really surprised during the next election. I have to thank Bob for his generosity in finding a parking place for me during the march on Congress. It made my life a whole lot less complicated. Unfortunately I had to leave before the meet-up at Joe Theismann’s when I got a Cell Phone call with problems at home. When I arrived home, I was happy that the problem had been reduced to a non-problem. The Rally after the march was rather loud, but I saw no counter protesters at all & in talking to people, found them to be very friendly. I did see one point where an ambulance was required for a participant due to medical condition. All in all, I thought it was very effective. When I finally arrived home, my wife was happy as she reminded me I hadn’t had any sleep in close to 40 hrs & she worried I would fall asleep while driving. The drive down was well worth the effort.
