Cheney Speaks Out On Threatened CIA Investigation

(Check out the new NMATV player!)

Vice President Cheney let’s ‘em have it.

Oh, and by the way… Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace repeated the false mainstream media talking point that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (9/11 mastermind) was “waterboarded 183 times”.

U.S. and Pakistani authorities captured KSM on March 1, 2003 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. KSM stayed mum for months, often answering questions with Koranic chants. Interrogators eventually waterboarded him — for just 90 seconds.

KSM “didn’t resist,” one CIA veteran said in the August 13 issue of The New Yorker. “He sang right away. He cracked real quick.” Another CIA official told ABC News: “KSM lasted the longest under water-boarding, about a minute and a half, but once he broke, it never had to be used again.”

Hopefully, the next time Mr. Wallace interviews someone with the stature of a former vice president, he does his homework first.

Oh, and one more thing – let’s is a contraction for “let us.” “Let’s ‘em have it” makes no sense. A review of correct apostrophe usage won’t hurt anyone.

Bush/Cheney kept us safe for almost 8 yrs, until BHO, and libtards cannot find it within themselves to admit that. Anyone who is against waterboarding (or even torture, for that matter) should explain this to their families, i.e. that they wouldn’t subject a kidnapper/terrorist holding them to such tactics to find & save them from impending death. National security should be the highest of priorities with any administration, but what will happen is that our terrorist enemies will see prosecuting the CIA and avoiding effective information-gathering tactics (such as waterboarding) as weakness, pure and simple.

Well, it appears that my fears are going to be realized – we’re gonna get hit AGAIN, thanks to all this crap.

I expected this to happen in 6 months or less after the coronation, but maybe it takes more time than I thought to get their feces consolidated. I’m talking about those that would do us harm, of course. We, on the other hand, take a lot more time than that to get our stuff together!!

Waterboarding is child’s play compared to real torture. See phyllis-chesler.com Aug. 28,2009 entry.

I believe it was a method involving drip, drip, drip…

If there was ever a humane method of conducting torture, then this is it. I would also like to note, that propaganda has the potential for a much greater deleterious effect, on both an individual’s mental and physical state. That’s why I stopped listening to BS; stopped watching ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, etc.; and stopped listening to PRI, NPR, etc. They have an agenda, and their goal is to demoralize, and utimately break, all those who oppose them.

I think torturing a population of 300 million is unconscionable and those who are complicit must be held to account.
