Miss Kim is reporting that the news world in Boston has come to a grinding halt over the passing of Senator Ted Kennedy.

My only question is this: considering his championing of abortion rights, Chappaquiddick, and all the other family shenanigans, is Ted in Heaven?

    Edward was the last of the original Kennedy boys and thus, the last link to “Camelot”, so , I am sure that we are going to get the CNN treatment. I’ll respect the dead for now, but his life is a walking rebuttal to respect. Kennedy was also, in my opinion, an example of term limits for Congress. Some of these Senators have more long term power than then Presidents and Edward could use that “Kennedy” card as his respect voucher. But, I will let the dead lie…..for now.

    I am non-religious. However, I do not believe in “heaven or hell” or a continuation of life after this one, nor do I believe in reincarnation. I don’t believe anyone will be “judged” after this life. So having said that, I will say this. I think Ted Kennedy was an unkind person and like most other rich individuals they often put themselves first and was consumed in self-identity and greed.

    However, when the mass of people become “followers” and refuse to look at “reality”, they allow this behavior that the rich and greedy are accustomed to, and even condone it and roll out the red carpet as if he (they) were king…it’s not Kennedy’s place to refuse it, just the opposite, Kennedy, will embrace anything the hopeless followers will give to their king! Wouldn’t you?!

    I sure hope MaryJo is waiting to greet you at the top of the stairs, and with one swift kick, she can usher you down them.

    I do have compassion for the Kennedy family, for what they have endured in the way of tragedies, and these two recent deaths of their members. And I can’t say’s I held any personal hatred for the man. But given his entire life in politics was one big liberal celebration of money power and greed, and it’s beginnings built upon lies, I feel I can have at him one last time over his escape from justice concerning that young woman who died a watery death.

    Rumor has it that after Teddy left the scene of the accident and went to his friends house, he contacted his attorney and they began the process of moving his assets to overseas accounts so Mary Jo’s family couldn’t sue. That is why it took so long for him to return the next morning.

    Weather he is in Heaven or Not is truly a matter of repentance between him and God. But everyone should remember what Christ said “it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to get into heaven.” I shot a couple prayers up for Sen. Kennedy and his family for peace and comfort, and thanked God for answering my prayer of removing the 60 majority at least for the time being!

    No, he ain’t in Heaven as you know it, Bob. He’s in the Spirit Prison, awaiting Judgment day (ask any Mormon what I am referring to).

    The Machine, be nice to Cindy – it’s gonna be a shock when she finally passes into the Spirit world and finds out that God really DOES exist.     Crowhorse, OF COURSE Massachusetts is going to change the law back to where it was – the Dems will do whatever chicanery they can to remain in power. That’s why they changed it in the first place!

    While I wish death only on a very few select individuals, Teddy and/or The O ain’t one of them. However: Good Riddance!

    Actually: “Lion of the Senate” is closer to the truth that you might think.

    Lions (the ones who lead prides) usually do nearly nothing, as they do not hunt, they are simply fed by the lionesses (the taxpayers, working hard to pay the hardly-working elected official) sleep most of the day, and make babies (endoctrination?)

    Usually what happens is that eventually, a younger lion arrives, kills the older one and takes control of his pride (and of the lionesses…i.e taxpayers). What is interesting too, is that this lion that just took control will systematically kill all cubs of the old one.

    So Kennedy being the Lion of the Senate is accurate…just not in the sense the Boston Globe puts it.
