Folks, this is the thing that just irritates me all to hell. Barack Obama, as president of the United States, lives in public housing. He travels on public airplanes. He eats public food.
Barack Obama has the lifestyle of one of the wealthiest persons in the world, and he’s living off the hard work of the private sector while out there ripping the private sector to shreds. He has the best food, he’s got the nicest clothes, and it’s all paid for by who? It’s paid for by the American taxpayer.
Without the American taxpayer, without the American private sector, without free enterprise, there is no money in Washington — other than that which they would print. So it’s the private sector that has created all of this wealth, the trappings of which Barack Obama is able to live on.
And do any of you remember him ever saying, “Thank you”?
All we hear is, “I’m the president.”
Yes, you are better than us.
And he’s out there ripping the very people who make his life possible. He could send his kids to public school. He could insist on rationing the health care that his family receives like he’s insisting for everybody else. He’s insisting that minorities continue to go to public schools. He’s going to ration health care for everybody else.
If the White House is too big an extravagance he could move across the street to the Blair House. That’s the White House guest house. If he really believed in cutting back, he could curtail a lot of his travel but he does none of it. He would have nothing without the private sector and free enterprise. That’s what produces the wealth and money necessary for the president of the United States to live the lifestyle he does along with his family.
These people are just pure downright elitists, up there at Marxist Vineyard, of all the places he could go, the richest places in the country with the whitest people in the country.
You got Obama living the good life. He thinks nothing of flying a pizza chef from the White House to St. Louis or vacationing among the rich, largely nonintegrated Marxist Vineyard. He thinks nothing of sending his kids to the best private school around.
I don’t care about this. That’s fine and dandy. Except for the fact that they want to keep what they have and live as they do and deny that opportunity to the rest of everybody else, like the Russian czars. They are smug, arrogant, elitists.
The president has been rubbing his new-found “wealth” and power in our faces from the day after the election, but when he officially goes on vacation, we’re supposed to back up off him.
Enjoy the vacation, knowing we’ll be given just enough details to prove he’s better than us.
I can’t begrudge their vacation and I would guess that his girls need a get away. It does seem an unlikely place though, talk about an elitist camp resort!! What was he thinking?
Yet I know the girls would enjoy Yosemite, Coney Island or Ocean City Maryland. Still, I refuse to be upset with O taking a vacation with his kids, no matter where it is. The girls deserve it.
As for the rest of this, it is very scary, the similarities with Russian czars and the poor downtrodden populous! Soon enough, given the road he’s taking us, we could be exactly like those people.
Unless the sleeping masses waken. I think we’re rousing them, but it’s tough when they’ve been subjected to years of Ambien!!!!

Frankly, I completely disagree with that statement. What exactly have they done to deserve it? Answer: nothing. They are simply the children of the most arrogant, seemingly racist President of the 20th and 21st century. They deserve nothing of the sort.

@Trish – I agree that they’re just fine taking a vacation. The problem I have is the choice of destination. That said, I expect that a trip to Disney World might give the Secret Service fits. Security is a requirement, and a small island is somewhat more easily monitored.
Although, I would like to take my family on a vacation, but they’ve sucked the life so far out of the economy that with pay cuts and staff draw-downs I can’t go anywhere.
Why is it OK for UhhhBama to take a vacation during these poor economic times yet the press hounded GWB for taking any time off prior to 9/11
Look, the girls are young enough that, for now, they don’t deserve to be brought into the wrath against the parents. Let the innocence continue while it lasts. Childhood is such a short period of time.
On the other hand, that doesn’t mean that they “deserve” to go on all these vacations, especially at the expense of the tax payers. Lots of children out there that don’t get to go on vacations, especially in this economic climate, mostly of this administration’s makings.
It is irking me to high heaven to see him blow taxpayer money as if it were nothing. Guess to him it IS nothing, since he doesn’t earn it. Right now, he is the biggest welfare recipient in the country, in my eyes.
Servants, expensive food, doling out tax payer money to his buddies, whether on Wall Street, or his Ivy League Administration. Ever since he’s been in office, all I’ve heard about were his “trips” around the world where he bashes this country, then goes out and has an enjoyable time after his hard work bashing this country was over. Then he goes on expensive dates, and vacation after vacation while the rest of the country struggles under the bad decisions.
I’m starting to agree with Rush and Glenn that they are probably purposefully collapsing the system so they can put their own system in place, especially if they can make people FEEL they are a necessity. Beck makes the best case.
I fear for this country, and resent what’s being done to it. The sleeping giant may be awakening, but it’s not awakening fast enough.

28.5% of the week is the weekend, and the 13.5% remaining on the “on vacation 42% of the time” included trips to Camp David where he wasn’t really on vacation full-time.
I’d really be interesting in finding out just how much vacation time Obama has taken.

Not only is Obama arrogant he plays the race card more often than Charlie Rangle or Al Sharpton & we all know they are about as racist as anyone can get. We need to replace the CRAP we have in Congress. This is not something new & has been going on for years, at least the last twenty or so. We need some new blood representing us that haven’t been corrupted by carrier Politicians. There is a young Marine who served in the Iraq war that is fed up with the corrupt Government in charge now. He wants the same thing we do, a smaller Government that listens to we the people & upholds the principles of the Constitution.
