On the Whole Foods Boycott : I like the words “deceived Progressives”. Is that an oxymoron?

“Is Sean Hannity Considering Presidential Run In 2012?”
Huge mistake. He is a mouthpiece, period. The problem with an of the talkers is they control their own little world, but the world political arena is an animal that play by its own world. Kind of like dictating terms to a Grizzly in a fight. Forget it. Besides, he is way too polarizing a figure to get elected.
“Oil industry protest campaign adds to summer heat on President Barack Obama”
If these big companies decide they have had enough, Obama is in trouble. It was big money that got him elected. He obliterated McCain in fund raising. Really, if you think about it, Obama should have smoked him far worse given the money and exposure advantage he had.
“Hundreds in Miami-Dade protests healthcare reform”
Young people have energy and youth, but old people have the money and real estate. Nothing to sneeze at.
“Monitors: Taliban cut off fingers of Afghan voters”
Remember the liberal’s motto: All cultures are equally valid, just different. Untill people acknowledge that some cultures are better than others, this will continue. Christianity and Islam are supposed to be equal, but what religion rules in sadism and torture? Islamic extremists show us what torture and intolerance REALLY ARE. Waterboarding? That’s amateur for these guys.
“The Obama messiah delusion has well and truly exploded”
When it comes to our current president, I read the foreign press more. They are more objective and critical, like our PRAVDA press should be. Some like him, some don’t. but the blind, child-like cult worship isn’t there. Hey, I don’t care if the press says good thing about Obama, I am just sick and tired of the imbalance that we tend to get whenever we get a Democrat POTUS. Yes, he gets it because of his race, but Clinton got alot of it, too. Our press are just of liberal whores, turned out by the Democratic party.

“A Shoppers’ Rebellion at Whole Foods”
Whole foods is all about white, liberal college-educated shoppers. My best friend lives in Austin and I remember when it was the ultimate big, dumpy health and organic food store. Their HQ is in Austin, a liberal town for the most part. The store itself is all about liberals. One of the first to offer same sex benefits, contribute profits to green causes, buy local produce and meat, etc. All of this and they still are turning on them. The liberals truly cannibalize each other because they are, deep down, not really loyal to anything. They are more about being “against something”, hence, the lunatic fringe.

The other day was the first day I was in a Whole Foods that I can remember. It was a nice store, a lot of convenience stuff, which you pay for. Yes, most of it was very expensive, but there was a lot of stuff there that I would never be able to find locally, as well as the local produce (I DO try to support local farmers, and will go to the local farmers markets, which aren’t high highfalutin like in the major metropolitan areas).

On the oil aspect, I think people feel about oil companies the way they do about insurance companies…they don’t see them as good guys. BUT, I am against Cap ‘n Tax as well as the healthcare bill, and neither one of those companies had to tell me to, or pay me to be against either one.

It all boils down to the government being able to control us commoner, while the elite won’t have to worry about how to eat or pay their electric bills or waiting on THEIR healthcare, or the quality of it…the taxpayers have THEIR backs.

“Just when it looked like the Republicans couldn’t blow it”

am the only one who doesn’t see a problem with Sean Hannity? I think he’s a decent guy and I loved his interview with Jon Voight

  5. Nicolas says:

    also..

    “Will hurricane disrupt Obama’s vacation?”
“Not if he can part the seas”

I thought he said he was working on “walking on water”

    “Paterson Whines: ‘Racism!’”

same media that elected obama is now racist?

“Considering his future in-laws, the groom-to-be really ought to think this through”

damn right…2 words – BIG MISTAKE!!!

  6. Nicolas says:

    another point..

breadbasker – because of the liberal bullshit in the MSM, I read B&R, and it’s been good times since I’ve started and joined up.

Bob has good perspective on things and makes things better to deal with when you almost won’t hear diving numbers and other liberal pitfalls from the Pravda MSM, so thanks Bob!
