"his own person and stands/fails on that merit"

This approach to judgement is part of the solution. It requires more effort, but we are more likely to be right.

That said, when people act as a collective, then they invite others to judge them collectively. No human exists in a vacuum, and there are many people, businesses, and organizations, that make Obama possible.

It's interesting that the self-organizing movements, in protest of the administration's agendas, are representated by the majority of people. That would indicate that the normal state of being is represented by these disparate people, who happen to be of like mind. This is the true grassroots movement, when a disorganized populace organizes without a central, coordinating body.

The Stephanie Miller show? Talk about leftwing wack jobs. This is the same woman who threw out the idea of bring up treason charges on Limbaugh for wanting Obama's policies to "fail".

This constant mention of "killing" the POTUS must be some kind of freudian slip. Also, I notice this constant mention that Obama is a very smart guy. Juan Williams, Carlos Watson, Howard Dean, Keith Olberman, etc., all constantly repeat how very smart Obama is. It is like a aphorism that Stuart Smalley would use. Are they afraid that he is not that smart? Is this some racial fear that whites won't think Obama is smart?
A tendency I have noticed from a lot of the black community. The rebuke of any criticism of any black leader. Here is a word from someone who is white. I don't judge a race by one person. Obama is his own person and stands/fails on that merit. What I think of Obama had NOTHING to do of what I think of anyone else, period. If Obama fails, that does not mean there aren't more qualified black leaders out there. I have met atleast 7 black mgrs/administrators that are more qualified for POTUS than Obama in my own tiny circle, men who have lead, made critical decisions, hired/fired staff, designed and implemented large budgets, and possess the experience and temperment to make the right decisions, regardless of public/company sentiment.
I am old school. You need to learn to walk before you run. Respect is earned and real respect is naturally given, not "sold" or "pushed" on someone. Respect you "take" is short term and full of resentment.
Earned respect is a natural process, like someone who goes from asst. mgr>general mgr. >district mgr. > VP> President. In politics, I would consider it, local congressman/woman>Mayor>state congressman/woman>Governor>VP or President.
I think running a major company or organization would allow you to skip a few steps here. Something bigger than ACORN , though.

The left-wing wants a martyr. They do not believe in self-sacrifice, but are more than happy to sacrifice another's life.

It has happened before.

"Miller Ridicules Samoans"

What is wrong with regressives? They can't help but reveal their true nature. Speaking of Obama, he could never compete at the performance level demonstrated at the Special Olympics, but he ridicules them anyway. It must be envy.

They keep referring to the "right-wing". They fail to recognize that Conservatives are not "right-wing", they are people who support the Republic and rule of law. Conversely, the regressives (i.e., "liberals"/"progressives") are people who oppose and work to sabotage the Republic, and by definition should be considered traitors. They betray, not only our nation, but also individual dignity, and human relations in general.

<i>"and kill the president"</i>

Is Howie trying to do a Jedi mind-trick or something?

The left is always projecting their feelings onto Republicans.
