Vick, A Patriot?
The Patriots are recognized in the preseason power rankings, but what if they grabbed a talent no onewanted? It’s not like we’re in uncharted waters here. Troublemakers are tamed in New England, so acquiring the NFL’s most hated player is not out of the realm of possibilities…
Looking for an ideal landing spot for Michael Vick? Think outside the box. Better still, look under the hood — the famous gray hoodie of New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
“Bill Belichick would cultivate the talents of Michael Vick much the way Bill Walsh did Steve Young, who was thought to be washed up,” CBS and NFL Network analyst Solomon Wilcots says, citing the late San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame coach. “Who better to show Michael Vick the road back than Bill Belichick?
“Vick and Belichick would be a wonderful tandem. I don’t think Tom Brady would feel threatened.”
Patriots wideout Randy Moss’ resurrection the last two seasons after a 2007 trade from the Oakland Raiders is an example of Belichick’s ability to maximize the talents of a player others might consider beyond salvage.
Face it, slamming Michael Vick might get you laid, but if you found out he was coming to your team, you know you’d be stocking up on the popcorn.

What, are you gonna pay him to hold a clipboard? He wasn’t a good quarterback before he did time in the pen, and even Bellicheat can’t teach him how to be an accurate thrower…nobody’s that good.

He wasn’t a good quarterback before he did time in the pen,
i remember the last season he played before spending time at the cross bar hotel, all the talking heads on the pre-game shows were saying the same thing hoss said. they actually had him the subject of trade talks because altanta was getting the louisville coach.
he was a running back that could throw the ball.
