There could be some serious guilt-by-association coming down, and the guilty know it.
With polls showing a drop in President Barack Obama’s job rating and sinking support for the Democrats’ health care plans, there is evidence of collateral damage where you might not expect to find it: in the standing of Democratic governors.
These governors are mostly able and attractive people, and every one of their states voted for Obama.
When you put these results together with Obama’s slide in the polls, they suggest trouble for big-government Democrats. Pollster Scott Rasmussen now shows Obama with only 49 percent job approval; when he asked voters which party they would like to represent them in the House, Republicans came out ahead of Democrats.
Barack Obama may just be the best thing that ever happened to the Republican Party and the governors know it.

Iowa’s Democrat governor is likely getting the boot next year. We went from a Republican governor and a state-constitutionally mandated budget surplus to Democrat Tom Vilsack (now Sec of Agri for Obama) raising taxes and fees like it’s going out of style to a several billion dollar budget deficit under the new clown, Democrat Chet Culver. The last gubernatorial election reminded me of McCain vs Obama, with liberal vs liberal lite and just a bad choice.
Let’s just work to see that all the Dem governors become extinct.
best news I’ve heard all day
sweet SWEET collateral
Barack Obama may just be the best thing that ever happened to the Republican Party and the governors know it.
i continue to hope and pray that bob is correct and i am wrong.
