Wow. Direct and to the point.
That’s right, I said it; and I am damn proud of it too.
This guy, Bob Parks, who runs a Blog called Black and Right, (Chuckle Snicker Grin) is, as far as I am concerned, a racist.
Here are the reasons I feel this way:
1. I am sure you have heard about Alexis Cohen, the American Idol contestant, who was killed in a hit and run. Thankfully, her killer was found and arrested. Well, Mr. Parks, in his snobbish style, called this young lady “Troubled” and went out of his way to mock her on his Blog. My question is, would have worded this article in this fashion; if this young lady were black? It is to truly wonder.

2. Another fine example of Bob Park’s Black Bigotry against white people is a posting called “Return of the Retard.” A posting about a Bill in the house that contained some offensive language. That I personally, as the Nephew of a Developmentally disabled Aunt, would personally find offensive myself. In this posting; naturally a picture of a White mentally retarded Child is used. Why would Bob Parks use a picture of a mentally retarded White baby, as the picture is called? You decide.
There are a few more, but that are the two that really stuck out to me. Why else would Mr. Parks word things like he does? Why else would he use a picture of a white retarded child? Instead of maybe a black retarded child. Because he is a black racist bigot.
I guess he told me. Now, it’s my turn.
Those of you who’ve been here for the long run know that I’ve gone out of my way to not make B&R a “black” site. I comment on topical issues political, pop cultural, and social, regardless of the racial makeup of the subject matter. As a black Republican, I do have a perspective that isn’t heard often in the MSM, thus the success of this site, of which I am eternally grateful.
As far as the “retard” piece goes, I was citing a provision in the health care bill which uses that demeaning term. In seeking out a quick pic to place on the post, I found the pic in question after conducting a brief Google search.
Chuck Adkins, AKA Paleo Pat (why the alias, I don’t know) of PoliticalByline.com calls me a racist asshole because I picked a white kid as the one I posted and linked to. To be quite honest, choosing the proper race of the child was something I never considered, but I also don’t remember seeing any pics of black, mentally handicapped children. I don’t know if that was because black people can’t afford cameras, chose not to place pics they had of their handicapped children online, or just aborted the ones they knew would be abnormal at the pleasure of Planned Parenthood.
But I guess in Chuck Adkins’ mind, blacks can only use pictures of black handicapped children should that be the topic.
Also, he went off on my calling American Idol auditionee Alexis Cohen a “troubled” young woman.
If she hadn’t been killed last weekend by a hit-and-run driver, would Mr. Adkins have had a problem with her video rant? If he was/is a true conservative, yes he would have, as she spouted off the very language that would be found enlightening in liberal circles. If the issue of making a statement about her too close to her death was an issue, would Chuck Adkins have a problem with my saying that the late Osama bin Laden’s son (who was killed by a Predator drone last week) was “troubled”?
But what it comes down to is my choice of topics for commentary. Apparently, Chuck Adkins feels that I shouldn’t make disparaging remarks about white people… and he calls me the racist.
IF Chuck Adkins came by here last week, he would know that most recently our Bonehead of the Day #93 was Barack Obama, Boneheads of the Day #11 were Congressional Black Caucus members Barbara Lee and Danny Davis in defense of Henry Louis Gates, Jr., and Bonehead of the Day #92 was RNC Chairman Michael Steele who appeared at the National Press Club and couldn’t answer a question about his health care topic… and Mr. Adkins, those people are black.
From the looks at Mr. Adkins’ “About Me” section, he doesn’t care for a lot of things, including things black (you see how this can go, Chuck?).
I’ll not be lectured to and/or accept being called a racist by someone who hasn’t mastered the use of Spellcheck, who’s using my name to score him some hits, and clearly knows little about this site.

But I can understand how people can take things completely out of context, and see an entire site and the author through one prism alone.
Now, I *am* troubled that he seems to harbor some strange notions about what a black man should or shouldn’t be publishing. Almost like he has people siloed, in an identity politics sort of way.
But just let him go… he’ll either come around, or he’ll run smack around someone else’s site to generate heat and pageviews.
(that is what he’s after here, is pageviews. I wouldn’t even link to him…)
These are the exact types of “conservatives” that we DON’T need claiming to be conservative. Here’s the line that kills me the most:

As a black man, and the not so distant decendant of a white man, I’m deeply troubled that someone would point out that anything but the hue of my skin is “inherent”. Moronic asshats like him are the reason that the liberal media and Democrats can continue to call conservatives and Republicans racists.

Your biggest mistake, Bob, is the title of your blog.
You are BLACK and RIGHT. Right not only means conservative, but being dead-on with most issues. Now, change it to BLACK and LEFT, then your backside will be covered a little more.

We should just ignore Chuck. We don’t know his agenda, and can only infer his motivations. We know that “racism” is alive and well, perpetuated by members of humanity that profit from this industry. All people who seek opportunity in promoting and perpetuating division on the basis of this prejudice should be marginalized and disregarded. We need to judge each other on our words and actions alone. Although, when I see a black person, I will describe their appearance as black, and when I see a white person, I will describe their appearance as white. This is a physical characteristic, which defines our appearance and not who we are. The individual should take pride in their appearance, and regard it as a distinguishing feature of him or herself.
No worries, Bob. Now that you are in the mainstream, you can expect more critics. An inherent price of “celebrity”.

Well I find it funny. Bob in his right of free speech comments back. But if this “conservative of a blogger” was correct the first time, why is he defending himself? However, I will say, regarding the Alexis Cohen topic. I had television “back in the day” in 2007 and I even watched American Idol that season and I remember Alexis! Yes, she was a little “out there” and it was obvious then there were issues in her life. Having said that, she was a personal favorite of mine on the show. Besides being “troubled”, there was such a genuine and personal side to her. I believe her emotions were raw and very real; emotions even I could relate to. I think many of us could relate to her. I’m sad she was killed and to Chuck’s defense, it’s only natural to be upset when people take a death and make it into a joke, per se; even making the victim the joke.
Alexis was certainly “unique”, and she was loved by family friends. I’m saddened to hear of her untimely death and my thoughts go out to her family and friends.

I always thought only white people were subjected to this garbage… Now I know better. The concept of “protected class” is only true in theory. What is written explicitly differs from what is actually true in fact. I just visited Michelle Malkin’s site, and she is subject to the same harassment, and specifically because she is of Asian descent. Apparently, the common complaint is that she should know better, than to judge and treat people equally. There you have it. This is why you are wrong, and will forever be so. Maintain the establishment, then the establishment, and all those who profit from it, will support you. Very simply, indeed.
Well, no one said change would be easy. It’s difficult to erase thousands, if not more, years of prejudice and self-serving behaviors. There are a lot of confused people out there, and the current ploys by BS and company to divide us will inevitably force a regression. This is “hope and change” of the regressive variety.
OK, I typically do not respond, but after having been with Bob for Hella long time, (ever since I saw his post on YouTube -To our Troops serving in Iraq) I take exemption at any jagoff calling Bob a racist. Nope, I did not go to Adkins’ site, I refuse to give him traffic figures. Bob turned me on to Shelby Steele, John McWhorter, Ken Hamblin and Larry Elder. Having read their works saved my sanity while in college (Valdosta state) working on my bachelors as a PoliSci major, Sociology minor these last 2 years. Having been pointed in the direction of true race intellectuals and not just race baiters (like Adkins) was invaluable to me while arguing with the various leftist trash concepts one finds in a university Sociology department. I am eternally grateful, Bob.
All that aside, a fellow squid has to get some love, even if he was a skimmer puke and not a bubblehead like myself. Suffice to say, I have been reading Bob for a few years, and this jerk does not know Bob at all. The only time I have ever seen Bob get vicious was with the ‘boss’ that absconded without paying for doing his “Outside the Wire” radio show and left him in the lurch. ‘Nuff said.

This site is about the most non-racist site I’ve ever found. I thank God that I found it. You give me a lot of faith that America can pull itself out of the difficulties we are facing with a little common sense. I personally never took notice of the picture. I don’t go around trying to find “racism.”
