    I heard, I believe from Jonah Goldberg, that the Minimum wage was first instituted as a racist measure. The idea being the that wage was too high for racist employers to justify paying to Black and Chinese workers.

    The fact that our founders were Christians and premised the creation of our nation and establishment of our rights on the assumption we were born of a Creator.

    From the “Declaration of Independence”:

    “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

    The regressives are atheists. They must be seething to know this inconvenient truth. The young people are indoctrinated by the regressive adults and rebel against the nation which enables them. They cannot stand the notion that the greatest nation that has ever existed was established by people of faith.

    I personally don’t mind that this nation was founded by Christians. Since the time we were able to progress past the special interests that forced the original compromises, this nation has been an oasis on Earth. A place where people come together, live together, work together, and pursue a better future for themselves and their children. This nation’s founders described and established a framework that promotes individual dignity, and, today, we are all beneficiaries of their foresight.

    Once again, these are enlightened words, that remain as inspiration today for all people. They were pragmatic idealists — in pursuit of the best possible within the constraints of reality.

    fantastic to hear, and not surprised. There is a Jewish gentleman who tried to make a video response to a video of mine..strangely didn’t work somehow, but I caught his video and he basically asks the O for some REAL leadership when it comes to Israel, also mentioning something to the effect of “He who favors Israel, prospers” or something along those lines

    also regarding the Gates incident, I saw that the Black Officer present at the scene supported the arrest and the police department wants an apology from the O. Funny how THAT works

    Lesson#1: You cannot not please everyone all of the time. It works in campaigns,not in real life.

    Geez, Bob, great analogy. I didn’t think about that, but the Gates episode knocked his healthcare speech out of the box. It’s there, but not the focus it should get.

    The Police union supported McCain? I have to wonder if Obama makes the same statement if the NEA is involved. Once again, my Black constituents(in this case, someone he knows on a “first name” basis) or potential Union voters? Lesson#1: You cannot please everyone all of the time. I know I sound redundant, but Obama has made a living on pleasing everyone all of the time since the middle of 2008. Now, the tide is ………………turning.

    In my experience, the people who talk hard, aren’t hard. Period.
