B&R on O’Reilly Factor

Thanks to those old and new friends alike who responded to Thursday night’s Factor appearance.

It’s a given, the Fox audience is much more open-minded than what was experienced after my 2005 phone interview on CNN with Carol Costello.

BTW — I was also contacted by a very nice producer at CNN to speak with Rick Sanchez on his show. Since most of you know how I feel about about that asshole, I turned them down.

  1. onewiseguy Says:

Bob, good for you on turning down Rick Sanchez. He is a typical ignorant, liberal blow-hard. I’ll be sure to look for your O-Reilly interview.

  2. IT Nerd Says:

Thanks for the heads-up Bob!! Congrats!!

  3. louielouie Says:

bob, it is your blog and you can do as you please, but in the future i think it would be best to not sugar coat it. tell us what you really think.

  4. Bob Says:

Sorry ’bout that, Louie. Next time I’ll preface my remarks with “… and let me be clear about this.”

  5. patriotgirl Says:

Go Bob! Can’t wait to watch.

  6. carolinagirl Says:

Cool deal Bob! We’ll be watching!

  7. SFJ Says:

Programming the TiVO right now so I’ll have it for posterity! Bravo!

  8. breadbasker Says:

Congrats on the O’reily interview! Can’t beat that exposure. At least I know the issue will dealt with in an objective, direct manner. I’ll be watching for sure.

  9. MissJean Says:

Congrats. Too bad I don’t have cable TV, but I’m hoping it shows up on YouTube or something.

  10. SFJ Says:

Hey Bob…after this you can forget that 2001 Van and go for a 2010 version!

  11. TheGreatExperiment Says:

    Fantastic. We’ll be watching.

  12. Dave J Says:

    Rock on Bob!!

  13. n.n Says:

“Unlike President Obama, my words don’t resonate nationally to the point where they can influence policy… yet.”

Stay cool, confident, and represent the people well.

    Good luck!

  14. Nicolas Says:

CONGRATS Bob! I’ll definitely tape it! Hell, could you see if you can record it as well? I want to digital copy of the interview, if that’s alright

    can’t wait!

  15. Nicolas Says:

ugh..typos be damned. I mean “I want A digital copy of it..”

  16. Nicolas Says:

also, Bob, I know you hate him, but I think it might’ve been a killer opportunity to FRY that son of a bitch Rick Sanchez on CNN, but hey, I’ll take the “factor” I suppose. Not THAT much of a fan of Bill, but I’ll DEFINITELY catch tonight’s episode

  17. Igor Says:

Bob, wise move, I’m sure the Sanchez interview would have started out badly and the wonks at CNN would’ve edited it to make you look (at best) like a fool. Good call.

Gonna have a video tomorrow that we can click on just in case we miss it (SOME of us don’t have DVR or Tivo…)?

“Set the NMMA TV recorders to *on*”!!

  18. Cindy Says:

I wish I could watch it but I do not have a television! But you will do well on it, I just know.

Maybe you can have a clip of it to put on B&R once it is done.

  19. Sayers Says:

Sweet, I’ll definitely turn this on

  20. GarlandAngel Says:

    Excellent on both counts!

  21. Marla Says:

Bob – this is Great! BUT watch out for O’Reilly. We stopped watching him because he interrupts EVERYONE and since his interview with BO, he’s gotten a little less clear-headed.

BE SURE TO get to say the most important things you can and tie in how Prez OBAMA was stupid to get involved as HE is enflaming racism while pretending to be the ‘healer.’

We’ll be watching tonight, for sure!!! Good Luck, God Bless.

  22. louielouie Says:

    why put it on youtube?
    nmatv
cindy made the comment i would have.

  23. Marla Says:

Let’s see how much Bob gets to say before O’R interrupts him. Bob -you just go and go. Don’t let him interrupt too much.

  24. Jimmy Z Says:

I sure hope it will appear here tomorrow. I do not pay for TV thus I haven’t got cable.

Great to see you stand up to someone like Sanchez. He was quite nasty with those gentleman on that clip, just because they weren’t voting for skin tone. Good lord.

And I’d put it both HERE and on Youtube – exposure is good.

  25. Palmetto Says:

Got the DVD burner programmed. Can’t wait.

  26. danborvan Says:

I just saw the interview. Oustanding job.

  27. bellis Says:

Bob – Good to see you on Fox News! Glad to hear your opinion on the whole mess. Its ben ellis by the way, ended up moving to new york and im working for CBS now, go figure. Anyhow good job tonight man, good to see your face out there.

  28. Strider Says:

I just saw you on the Factor and all I can say is; Bob for President!
    Job well done.

  29. harry0 Says:

i never laughed so hard in my life….uncle tom called and wants his act back! by the way, get cindy a tv!

  30. breadbasker Says:

I got home late from work, did not know you would be on first. I’ll catch the 10 pm central rerun of it. You did a good job on the small bit I did catch. Mr. Hutchinson, from what I heard, responded predictably. I have agreed and disagreed with him on things, just don’t agree with this. Obama spoke too quickly on this, should have let things marinate a bit.

Here’s hoping you get more air time, Bob.

  31. Bigben Says:

Glad I flipped on O’Reilly, Bob. Seeing you with the website posted prompted me to join. Unfortunate that liberatard had to be a counterpoint, and wound up getting more air time than you. You were as spot on as you could have possibly been (oh, and good catch on that minor boo-boo regarding “prejudging” which you corrected with “reading his mind”). Trying to read that jokers mind is a consummation devoutly to be avoided, lest you go mad as well! Nice going…

I belong to a large email group who met on Ann Coulter’s site. I’ll feed the info to them about your place.

  32. Marla Says:

Good Job Bob, wish you got the last word in. But it was GREAT to see you and hear you!

  33. Palmetto Says:

Congrats. Bob. on an excellent presentation. BTW, loved the shirt and tie.

  34. SFJ Says:

Bravo Bob! I’m inspired and will “Chip In”! Folks…back up the nice words for Bob and donate to keeping this site on the air. See top right of the forum. (And, no, I have never met Bob. I just love his site!)

  35. Denney Crane Says:

You looked and sounded great. I read you everyday and it’s great to see you in person. You were most reasonable in your evaluation of the situation.

I was hoping to see your “intense” side, but alas, national TV requires a different presentation. Thanks for making a difference!

  36. Mary Ann Says:

Just got home from work…waiting for the 11 pm rerun. Glad you’re getting out there!

  37. lonelyst Says:

Bob…you were very strong on Oreilly with the radio guy….you were very believeable. the other guy seemed like he was trying to hide something…you did not. I stumbled on this web page after seeing you on the tube and wanted to leave a comment for yu in support of how you came across…I had not idea that yu had this whole comment and reply page and I also enjoyed reading the other comments. You seem to have a very diverse and informed following …I will be looking here on a daily basis now that I have found it..kudos to you Bob and the other posters….I can learn a lot here…thanks again..jw

  38. IT Nerd Says:

    Bravo Zulu, Bob!

  39. OldnyFirefighter Says:

Excellent Bob! I didn’t see all of it, as I had a slight problem to take care of (although you can probably guess). Will record any replays so I can see all of it. O’Reilly has the fitness of Redneck Bulldozer Operator & I thought he would try to flap his lips to keep your commentary as short as possible, but you did an excellent job, as usual. As soon as I can record it, I’ll be sending it on to a couple of hundred people that didn’t see it on Fox. I ha

  40. OldnyFirefighter Says:

Should have been finesse not fitness & before I sneezed & accidentally posted I started to say I have been following this site almost from the beginning & haven’t ever been disappointed in the commentary & comments. Keep up the excellent work.

  41. SlapShot Says:

If you post it here I would be happy to see it. I work second shift and missed it, but congrats !!!!!

  42. choirgirl Says:

    I’m new to this website.

Bob, I saw you on television tonight…it was the first I’d ever heard of you. I was so impressed at the way you responded to the question concerning Obama’s reaction to the so-called racist officer. That guy is like a puppet. He only says what he believes he is supposed to say and his comments were absolutely thoughtless! Maybe he should spend a little less time making congratulatory calls to professional athletes and more time focusing on things that really make a difference.

On second thought -maybe he should just keep calling athletes and less time thinking of ways to raise taxes!

  43. Lazarus Long Says:

It sure sounds like Prof. Gates is trying to stack the deck and give himself a full house – three race cards and two victim cards.

  44. Trishmac Says:

You were great Bob! I didn’t read that you were going to be on, so it was a pleasant surprise, when hubby yelled “here’s your buddy on Bill O!” (I send him to your blog for your insight, repeatedly…)
Nice to see you on TV, thought you seemed genuinely at home there. I really hope this bodes well for more interviews, and perhaps a guest spot on O’Reilly or one of the other Fox shows!!!

  45. The Machine Says:

Earl came off like a storefront preacher.

Meaning he didn’t really say anything, he just repeated a lot of already-known phrases that had not much to do with the situation at hand.

Bob, the Chroma-key of the active bridge traffic at night really helped put you over the top here.

    Strong Performance.

  47. Richmedia Says:

It’s hard to add much here that hasn’t already been noted, so I’ll just give you two thumbs up and a great job Bob!

Also, your radio spot was awesome. Keep up the good works!

  48. theunspokencode Says:

This is one white household that loves all good people, let’s work on loving each other until our hearts hurt! Bob… it is nice to know that there are black americans willing to see the right in a bad situation. Our hearts ache for the past, but we must look at all the good we have accomplished together. We must lift each other up! None of us are perfect, we all make mistakes. We need the educated to educate not promote our faults…. Thanks Again!

  49. jsmayo Says:

Bob, I had not heard of you or your website before the Fox interview. You were stunningly concise, fair, and on-point, unlike the other gentleman that appeared. He did what all of Mr. Obama’s supporters do: made excuses for Mr. Obama’s behavior. Thank you for your wisdom during the discussion and I wish you and yours well.

  50. Cindy Says:

HarryO, I REFUSE to have a television. What is on public television today is such garbage and personally I believe it degrads women as often as it can have a chance too. That and I refuse to watch anything fiction. And now, with the liberal media drooling over Obama, really this shit is way too much for me.

I tell you though, I’ve de-stressed a lot by not watching television.

Bob, great clip, thanks for posting….YOU LOOK GOOD IN PINK!!!

  51. Bob Says:

    It’s mauve…

  52. Cindy Says:

lol, you look good in mauve too!!!!!

Hey, you were in the Navy right? My daughter just enlisted! She’s in the college program and will go to OCS in June 2011 (two years from now). She’s in the n.u.p.o.c program.

Any advice I can give her?

  53. IT Nerd Says:

    Cindy –

As a Navy vet, let me congratulate you on the WISE choice made by your daughter. As far as advice, let me say the biggest mistake I made was getting out. Had I stayed in, I would have completed 25 years this past July 4 and would have a nice check waiting for me every month after retirement and still collect a paycheck from my 9-5 job.

  54. theunspokencode Says:

I hope as a nation as as a peoples that we can work through this with love and compassion. I get so sick and tired of all the fighting. Give PEACE A CHANCE. Why can’t we be friends. In high school I was beat up by a black girl, she thought I liked her BF. It was not a race thing. As a young adult I was pulled over by a black motor cycle cop, he wanted to give me a speeding ticket, he was lying… it was not a race thing. I mean the list goes on and on and on. Give me a break. I feel sorry for our kids, we fight like a bunch of idiotic morons and yet we teach our children to think before they do such a thing. Come on people! Can’t we do better than all this crap?!
