I was just about to respond to Nicholas' post more ore less saying the same thing. What Cronkite did was inexcusable. People trusted him to report the news and what he did was spew inaccurate propaganda based on his ideology and it cost the lives of many Americans. Walter Cronkite was NOT a journalist, he was a supreme fraud because he was biased and his actions had VERY real consequences for many Americans. Not only did he convince America that we had lost the war but he helped convince the North Vietnamese to keep fighting because America would eventually lose the will to keep fighting. The man is guilty of treason and the blood of thousands of Americans is on his head. The Machine, thanks for adding that.
