Boxer Trips Liberal Race Landmine

Why is it that when liberals talk to black people, they feel this need to say things they think we can relate to? The problem is, there are some black people who see that as condescension, and Harry Alford (President and CEO of the Black Chamber of Commerce) don’t play that.

Live by the race card, die by the race card (and slowly).

    Please – speak – slower. I – don’t – understand – you.

Either Alford is a child, or Boxer is experiencing a mid-life crisis.

    “NAACP passed a resolution.”

    “What does that mean?”

He must not be a member. Democrats respond well to the establishment. Remember, membership has its privileges.

“You’re trying to pit another black group…”

Boxer: Huh? You mean black people are individuals, and not part of some hive we lovingly refer to as “African-Americans”. Why wasn’t I informed.

Too funny. I would consider this a parody, if it were not reality.

I like this guy, Alford. He recognizes individual dignity, and his own.

I hate to say it; but, BS may be the right medicine for what ails America. Holder will have his honest discussion, but he will not like what he hears. It is only regressives that promote and perpetuate the division among “races”. While BS may be the medicine, it is people like Rodriguez, Alford, and Palin, that are the cure.

I heard part of this on Rush as I was running errands. Thanks for posting it, Bob.

Mr Alfred showed a lot of self-restraint, especially when Boxer talked around what he said, instead of addressing his point. I particularly liked the way he talked about his studies done by “experts in the field, regardless of race”. Liberal politicians always seem to have a “spokesperson” for any group, political lapdogs who aren’t the best in the field but will bark the correct answer.

I’m reminded of a blog post I read recently. It might have been The Anchoress. It pointed out an unintentionally hilarious Newsweek column by Kathleen Kennedy-Townsend: “Without a Doubt: Why Barack Obama represents American Catholics better than the pope does”. The blogger wondered what contingent Kathleen Kennedy-Townsend represented, since Catholics tend to be pro-Life and think that religious charities do a better job than government programs.

Thanks for the post, Bob. I just watched the video and that made my week! No one deserves a beatdown more than that condescending witch. After what she did to that Military officer(I noticed she didn’t challenge him on maam!),this is truly payback. Harry Alford is my new hero! She just started out being so superior and treating him like a little nothing. Then she throws in the quotes from other Black organizations like he is a stupid little boy that needs to shut up and be put in his place. There are racial attitudes on both sides of the aisle, but it just seems Democrats have the attitude that Black people should all think and act alike. We can’t have this independent thinker crap. I hope Harry started a trend here. Everyone should call her on her phony crap.

This is how conservatives need to stand up and not be pushed around. I say, Harry Alford for GOP head!!

  4. RightSide says:

Boxer demonstrated her elite racist perspective and ‘progressive’ agenda by attempting to marginalize 13 years of studies by a black business association with a proclamation from the ‘official’ black spokesgroup, the NAACP.

Everyone needs to see and understand what happened during this exchange and see liberals are truly the most racist people in power.

When you don’t get the results you want just manipulate the ‘facts’ to support your argument. Yes, that’s the ticket. This woman does not to deserve to represent the people of California or have a senate seat.

“When you have no basis for an argument, abuse the plaintiff.”

    Cicero circa 55 BC

She had the chutzpah to bring up her husband?

You know, the guy with all those got no bid Government contracts that she arranged for him…

She had the nerve to bring up the NAACP.

You know, total experts on the subject of economy, business and energy…

Well, at least she knew that she shouldn’t try to force a citizen who is no longer in uniform to address her as “senator” (small h intentional)…

  6. BRFan says:

I was floored when she said she’s married to a veteran. Can that really be true?

I also noticed she didn’t take offense to being called ma’am like she did with that general a little while back. I wonder why? Hmm.

  7. Ike says:

I saw that clip a few minutes ago.

    Wow.

Alford just totally unmasked her for her racist thinking. She COMPARTMENTALIZES people based on the color of their skin, and assumes that ALL black people must fall into one silo.

    Ridiculous.

I’m glad that I live in the enlightened South, where there is more integration in my church than there is in Boxer’s entire worldview. What a hypocrite!

Barbara Billingsley would have done a better job talking to him.
