MoveOn Email Of The Day

MoveOn.org: "Why Sarah Palin is resigning"For someone liberals believe is so stupid and non-consequential, Sarah Palin clearly has them nervous. As well as being a dunce in heels, she’s now a liar and target for discrediting before she lets the public know what cap-and-trade will really do to America.

Well, now we know why Sarah Palin is quitting as governor of Alaska. In a Washington Post column, she just announced her new focus: killing our chance to build a clean energy economy, starting with the energy bill currently in Congress.

Her op-ed is a marvel of misinformation and outright lies. Just like conservatives in Congress, Palin is trotting out the “energy taxes” scare tactic, and arguing instead for more drilling and more dirty coal. This bill already has too many giveaways to Big Coal and Big Oil, but it’s still not enough for Palin.

As ridiculous as Sarah Palin’s lies are, they’re getting attention, and they’re a real threat to clean energy. If we can raise $125,000 today, we’ll run a rapid response ad to counter these lies and stop Palin’s attack. Can you donate $25?

Isn’t it amazing how the left mocks this woman’s brain and looks (but fears her so much), they also use Sarah Palin for raising money? Then again, name one MoveOn MILF the left would donate $25 to. Anyone know any name, off hand, from MoveOn…?

All the new “Green Energy Jobs” seem to be minimum-wage pedaling bicycles attached to generators….

Regressive agendas exposed. MoveOn fears for its survival.

Typical response from an injured animal.

    They are afraid… Very afraid!

The “clean energy” agenda reminds me of 3Com, when executives
decided to cut half the company’s revenues, all the while claiming it
would be replaced with new technology. In the meantime, within
6 months, they cut 3000 jobs. However, unlike the public
corporation, that is our federal government, 3Com could not rely
on public subsidies to remain afloat. That was known and the
revenue cuts, and subsequent workforce reduction was done
intentionally. The company is now wholly owned by the Chinese.

Moral of the story: If you can’t compete, then subvert.

The 3Com executives and their Chinese counterparts were the only
ones who profited from that intentional subversion.

As long as “Big Green” must be subsidized through public wealth, then their agenda should remain off the table. They should continue their research, and, when they are ready, offer the people an economically viable, sustainable alternative to what they purport to be dirty energy sources. Unfortunately, until the various regressive factions can come to a consensus, they propose the lights should remain off, or, at least, dimmed. This is reminiscent of previous population control agendas they peddled in the past. They don’t have solutions, so they believe no one else does either.

The “worst and the dimmest”, indeed.

HA! Palin’s REAL plans are making Move-On shit bricks and try to spin her words!

also, ya Palin’s a MILF alright, but holy crap, Bob. Had no idea YOU’d use that word =P

  4. Bob Says:

    Nicholas,
First of all, I’m not that old, someone our age had to come up with the term for young people to use, and that’s how many liberals (make and female) look at Sarah Palin, whether they publicly admit it or not.

  5. MarlaZ Says:

    What’s a milf?

And n.n., did you work at 3COM? I did!! I saw that projects worked on for years and nearly ready to roll out would be canned at the last minute – causing us writers and the best engineers to become frustrated. Where abouts did you work, if you did, for 3Com?

  6. Rayj Says:

    @MarlaZ: MILF = Mother I’d Like to F***

“A fundraising email that MoveOn blasted out yesterday afternoon calling for cash to counter Palin’s “lies” on climate change has brought in more than $100,000 in 24 hours, a MoveOn spokesperson confirms to me.”

i know, i know… the left (whoever that is) fears sarah palin…

    *chuckle*

It truly is a small world. I worked as a software engineer at the West Valley site in the division

    MarlaZ:

It truly is a small world. I worked as a software engineer at the West Valley City, UT site in wireless development from 98 to 2003. I very much enjoyed the work and the people. We had great managers and directors, even the business development team was on board and aware of the market. It seems only the executive staff, and, possibly, the marketing group were complicit in the company’s demise.

Yeah, we had some good times, but it didn’t last. It was quite depressing to arrive to work only to observe the missing faces and empty cubicles. It grew worse as the date for shutdown of the site grew closer. On a nearly weekly basis, we would lose more people.

Oh well. There was a time when loyalty was a virtue. It’s unfortunate that our efforts were sabotaged.

    So, where were you stationed?
