”Obama says slavery’s past should be taught in US”

At least we got rid of slavery, it is still alive and kicking in Africa and the Mideast. Let’s not forget Africa’s role in this. There had to be cooperation with Africa and mass betrayal for it to happen.

One more point. You mean we were never taught about slavery’s past? What? Obama needs to come back home and worry about 21st century U.S.,not the pre 20th century slave trade.

“Boxer faces ‘challenge of a lifetime’ on climate change bill”

I will take Miss Cleo anyday of the week for this poor excuse for a senator. If you are a feminist, don’t use California as an example. Between Feinstein, Boxer, and Pelosi, the golden state has been sandbagged something fierce. Yes, it is not just their fault, but we are talking about 2 senators and the House head. Having Arnold at Governor sure did not help any.

“Obama to join Fox broadcast booth for All-Star Game”

I think this guy is just obsessed with being famous. The Tonight Show, Super Bowl, NCAA championships, and now joining FOX. What is he going to do, try to convince them to have FOX news “take it easy on him”?

    “Columbia ‘Jew-Bait’ Prof Furor”

Elitist colleges are the cesspoll that create monsters. Ayatollah Khoemini and Pol Pot are just two who had their brains poisoned by these type of schools.

“Obama says slavery’s past should be taught in US”

Bet his plans don’t include teachin’ the part about how and why the Republican Party was created…

  3. Palmetto says:

“Obama says slavery’s past should be taught in US”

Since he feels his own knowledge of the history of slavery to be lacking, may I suggest he start by reading Dred Scott’s Revenge” by Andrew Napolitano.

Of course he would hate this statement from the second chapter talking about “breaking in” slaves: “. . .implanting within the slaves a cognizance of their own inferiority and helplessness that created a habit of complete dependence upon their master.” This sounds exactly what he and his fellow libs have been doing to this country as a whole for a long time. Somehow I don’t think he would recognize this, though.

  4. MissJean says:

    “Obama and the masses”
I know that there were problems with trampeling with other dignitaries (Clinton, the new pope), but this made me kinda sick: “Another reason was simply the huge popularity of Mr. Obama himself, especially in Africa. If he had appeared on the streets, he would have been instantly mobbed by emotional crowds.” What kind of TigerBeat journalism is this?

    “Columbia furor”
Columbia didn’t follow their own rules. After being denied tenure in 2 years ago, Massad was supposed to show academic growth. He didn’t write or publish a major scholarly work since then.

“Take It Easy on Muslim Extremists, Police Told”
But this is the same civilization that recently decided that if there’s a break-in, residents should hide in a “safe place” until the police arrive. Under no circumstances are they to fight off the burglars because they will be charged. Criminals are the new protected class.

“Obama says slavery’s past should be taught in US”
He means a PC version instead of the complicated truth. I still recall reading a letter by an American free black who explained why he was selling a “lazy” old man that he’d owned for years. Evidentally the other slaves tried to get him to reconsider. Up until that time, none of my high school class had ever thought of American slavery being a byproduct of African slavery.

“Green energy costs more/Green guidelines unaffordable”
I could have written that story last year. Our electric provider gave us the option of having “green”-only electrical sources, but it was almost $5 more a month.

Retrofits stink. My brother and I both have to put in railings if we ever resell, because of new rules. I get the feeling that some members of the EPA won’t be satisfied until everyone lives in cities and there’s just a wilderness park from Pennsylvania to Nevada.

But good news: I now have a stash of lightbulbs to see me through the CFL decade. (I figure it will take 10 years before the rise in mercury in groundwater causes CFL-banning.)

    “Obama to join Fox broadcast”
I didn’t have a lot of confidence in him as POTUS, but now he’s openly trying out a career in broadcasting. Why doesn’t he just go into the nearest high school and ask the counselors to give him an aptitude test?

Instead of running away, the Deserter could have served as a conscientious objector & he would not have been in combat. I know quite a few people that have done this. Anyone naming their son Ocean sounds a little weird to me to begin with. There are plenty of Military Jobs that are non-combat positions. Sounds like a lazy person that wanted to get paid for doing nothing. Just another parasite on the US Citizens back. Being a massage therapist is about the only job he will get, as most people frown on Military Deserters.

I am a veteran of 24 years active service, my son just returned from his fifth trip to the sandbox. To Mr. Long? Boo friggin’ hoo, my son didn’t get to see his son every morning either but he did his duty honorably and without complaint.

  7. OldnyFirefighter says:

MissJean, at least he won’t have to bring his own teleprompter as Fox has a lot of them.

African & Arab slave traders sold slaves to Portuguese & Spanish Traders. That is how they got to the American Colonies to begin with. You never hear about the African & Arab Slave Traders because that is a fact that is taboo. There were also Black Masters who owned Slaves in the Colonies. It all gets blamed on the White Plantation Owners but they are not the ones that brought them here. Their own people sold them out & is still goes on in Africa & the Middle East today.

  8. Mauser says:

dreadlocks on white people are just Wrong. They’re not so hot on Black folks, but seriously, stop co-opting people’s culture you know nothing really about, and stick to pot-leaf t-shirts if you wanna be a dope fiend.
