Government Waste Of The Day
The federal protective service guards 9,000 facilities and more than a million federal employees. But some serious questions are rising about how secure those buildings really are.
Thanks to the federal employee unions, the jobs of the workers in question are more secure than the buildings could ever be.

The security gaurds are rent-a-cops. Most in my building are imigrants from Africa, mostly the old french colonies. Some are good the others do not know what they should be looking for. So it is not the Unions that protect the guards, but the unions have kept the guards from doing in depth search of questuionable items.
