As an Illinois resident, it also interesting to note that Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws anywhere. Try owning and carrying a gun in Chi-town. It is funny how Chicago crime never showed up in the election. Come to South Chicago sometime and see gun control in action! I think that the criminal approached Mayor Daley and asked for economic help. “Mayor, we can’t commit crime and make a living if we have to worry about guns. How about helping us out? We’ll make it worth you while.”

“Russia hints it could block nuclear arms deal with US President Barack Obama”

The world hated George W. But, hey, that couldn’t have anything with not being able to push him around. Obama just inspires Alpha male behavior from these countries. Lil Kim is strutting around like a thug with new toys and I’ll bet Putin and Medvedev are betting vodka shots on what they can pull off politically. Why do you really think the world wanted Obama in office? I mean, we have our racial skeletons in the closet in the U.S., but does the rest of the world really care about the color of our POTUS?

    “Coffee ‘may reverse Alzheimer’s'”

You got to watch your volume, though, or you’ll end up writing long diatribe’s like the one I wrote yesterday. No more Jamaica Blue Mtn!

    “The Palin Puzzle”

Oh, I think I’ll shut up on that topic!

“More female vets winding up homeless”
It correlates to more female vets serving in combat zones. Surprise.

    “Muslim minority erupts”
A Muslim extremist group set off a bomb yesterday front of a cathedral in the Phillipines. Four people died, but it could have been worse: In about 20 minutes people would have been leaving the mass service. Muslims are a minority in the Phillipines, too, but they want their own territory.

    “Tea Party”
My local newspaper reported that hundreds showed up in Port Huron to the Tea Party – but as a caption under one measly photo. I think the newspaper is more conservative but is afraid to tick off the huge numbers of Obama voters.

The revolution will not be televised.

    Onward!

Coffee? Just my luck (since I won’t touch the stuff).

Why can’t it be Diet Dr Pepper?

  5. Igor says:

Palin is crazy – like a fox. I think she’s pulled a very astute move on the Demmicans and Republocrats and they are thrashing about trying their best to keep her from running in ’12.

More fun than hitting yourself on the head with a hammer, that’s fer sure!!

MY COMMENTS TO B&R MONDAY EDITION:

What the F. George W. … find them Fem Vets a home …
Damn Marion … next time just say “Yo” …
4 Dead and 22 Wounded … looks like Chicago’s Chickens have come home to roost …
Hmmm lets see, Hillary spends over 2 years running for President on the State of New York’s Tax Payer’s Dime … Sarah does what’s best for the State of Alaska & its citizens and SHE’S the one being villianized …
Muslims in China? Tell me they really didn’t expect the Freedoms they receive in America …
Coffee reverses Alzheimer’s? What about Teabags Bob?
Russia taking candy from a bama … just like Jong Ill, Ahmadinejad, and Chavez …
The media should not have avoided the 4th of July Tea Parties, because we would have been more than happy to have given them all the coffee they needed in order to remember why it is great to be an American …
Note to Al Gore: Possible new documentary “Global Hunger and Cannibalism”

Only if the game must be played by their rules. Hopefully, they will step back from the abyss, and recognize individual dignity before it comes to that. While there are many people who do not recognize, or do not acknowledge, their good fortune of living in this country, they probably would not choose the alternatives prevalent throughout the world.

    “Freedoms they receive in America”

Last time we checked, the Uighurs were enjoying their virgins in Paradise, not America. We have freedom and opportunity, not paradise. Although, I suppose it is the next best thing in an imperfect world.

    “”Global Hunger and Cannibalism”

Is that before the temperatures rise, or after the temperatures drop?

It’s a good day for comedy! Thank you regressives, one and all.
