Don’t get me wrong. I want to encourage this. The cash-strapped environmental-cases figure if they soak the rich in wealthy countries on their “emissions”, they can avoid soaking the middle class and poor worldwide.

To fairly divide the climate change fight between rich and poor, a new study suggests basing targets for emission cuts on the number of wealthy people, who are also the biggest greenhouse gas emitters, in a country.
Rich people’s lives tend to give off more greenhouse gases because they drive more fossil-fueled vehicles, travel frequently by air and live in big houses that take more fuel to heat and cool.
By focusing on rich people everywhere, rather than rich countries and poor ones, the system of setting carbon-cutting targets based on the number of wealthy individuals in various countries would ease developing countries into any new climate change framework, Shoibal Chakravarty of the Princeton Environment Institute, one of the study’s authors said by telephone.
That means all of the wealthy suckers who voted for Obama will get hit real hard. That means Hollywood celebrities, Northeast academics, media types, business people, investors, The Vineyard, trust fund babies, and more will be forced to dig deep and pay for their opulence and stupidity. This climate scam was always about money, so all of those who bought into global warming-turned-climate change will have to pay for it.
Now watch all those Democrat campaign contributions dry up.

I doubt THOSE will dry up, any possible Republican “believers” hopefully will come to their senses and halt funding that garbage..if any Republican “believers” exist anyway..

I wouldnt be so sure. Somehow I bet there will be tons of loopholes those rich celebs will find, if they arent just exempt because obama says so.

If only it were so. On the other hand, these wealthy elites might choose to sell off their possessions and move to Cuba! That would be great!

That is why all philosophies mandating consolidation of power fail so miserably. There are the “elites”, their supporters, and everyone else — separate and unequal. A variant of “hope and change” to be relegated to the past.
