"Very constitutional coup"
washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jun/30/very-constitutional-coup/

"This morning, the armed forces restored peace and democracy to our country, backed by all institutions: legislative branch; judicial branch; political parties, including the former president's own party; business bureaus; and most other groups representing society. Their stance sends a clear message: No one, not even the president, is above the law."

So, who's right? BS, or everyone else, including Zelaya's own party?

"Running a campaign disguised as promoting change for the people and true direct participation of the masses"

This is exactly what BS promised, and has not delivered.

It's more than a little amusing, when "liberals" criticize their own. While I will give them credit for that, I still wonder, and worry, about their obsession with Bush. Their words are reminiscent of the "hate crimes" agenda, where a crime is not a crime, unless it's a majority against a minority. Shouldn't BS be judged on his own merit?

Is this his first, second, or, I have lost count, faux pas in international diplomacy?

"Nonetheless, these institutions started to be portrayed as part of the groups of power that were afraid of change, tyrants opposed to the people of our country, who did not want people to express themselves. Whatever person or institution went against his project was also an enemy of the people. Sound familiar, Mr. [Obama]?"

I changed "Chavez" to "Obama" and the statement remains true. Weird, isn't it

because I often see typos in his posts...

Was that a slam or what?!

I do try and police my posts and rid them of as many of those pesky typos as possible, and yes, "loosers" is a pet peeve of mine and was intentional.

"still looking for church"

Not every reverend is preaching "God damn America"? Where is a lost BS to go, for ideological support.

"golfs fourth week straight"

Never waste good crises. While the people are distracted, BS will play.

"Blacks in survey say race relations no better"

No? You don't say. Moral of the story: Exploit others as you would have them exploit you. I could have sworn the saying was something else... Oh well. Maybe the next period of regression will remind us.

"defends Sotomayor after ruling reversed"

Ah! Period of Regression part deux. This may require a generational lobotomy.

"says coup in Honduras is illegal"

The Honduras Supreme Court states that the action of the President violated the constitution. Who is telling the truth? Who is right? It seems that the Jester was more than willing to wait for an "outcome" in Iran; but, was ready and waiting to cry foul in Honduras -- hypocrite (or special interests)!

-My fav quote from the FCC article: "But there's probably no connection with last year's maneuvering."

-A-list love lost - Well, it might have to do with them putting out a decent original movie, I don't want to pay $9 a head to see crap, I've got cable for that.

- Honduras - illegal, so now he's an expert in Honduran jurisprudence!? Seems to me he can't get the "natural born" thing straight here, how's he supposed to get anything foreign right?
