Obama Quote Of The Day
If it wasn’t patronizing enough (imagine the collective screech if George W. Bush had ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” playing in the White House before a Gay Pride Month celebration with the “prominent”), President Obama had the following words for the nation…
I know that many in this room don’t believe that progress has come fast enough, and I understand that. But I say this: We have made progress. And we will make more. There are unjust laws to overturn and unfair practices to stop.
On “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”…
My administration is already working with the Pentagon and members of the House and the Senate on how we’ll go about ending this policy, which will require an act of Congress. I’ve asked the secretary of defense and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to develop a plan for how to thoroughly implement a repeal.
Even as we take these steps, we must recognize that real progress depends not only on the laws we change, but, as I said before, on the hearts we open.
Tell that to Perez Hilton.
It would be nice if the president could show the same compassion for the millions of “ordinary people” who’ve lost jobs, homes, and retirements thanks to his policies.
Oh and by the way, Germany and Hungary are going to implement tax cuts to stimulate their sagging economies. Obviously, spoiled know-it-all children aren’t running those countries.

“Even as we take these steps, we must recognize that real progress depends not only on the Constitution we change, but, as I said before, on the taxpayers’ wallets we open.”
Fixed it for you, Mr. President.
By the way, Bob, did you see the video of Democrats in Albany who refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance and stopped the lone Democrat who tried?

I wander if anyone else actually read the 2 page “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” policy. If he actually Repeals the “DADT” then that mean that gays can be prosecuted under the UCMJ and not just kicked out. As DADT actually gave protection to homosexuals in the military by not requiring gays to admit and not allowing investigation into whether or not a person is a homosexual.
As anyone who’s been through bmt (or whatever the non-AF branches call it) can tell you Article 32 of the UCMJ means we can prosecute you for whatever we feel like.

The spoiled Democraps in Albany act like a bunch of spoiled 3 yr olds.
They pout & throw a tantrum when they don’t get their way. NYS sucks to begin with. If my whole family didn’t live here, I’d have been out here long ago. Schumer is reason enough to leave & so is anti-gun McCarthy. She hates guns because her husband died at the hands of a madman & blames us gun owners because her husband was too ignorant to arm & protect himself. Outside of Vermont, the whole new England area is a Liberal Dreamland – no common sense, just Liberal non-thought. I worked for the NY Senate for a short time & boy did I get an education into NY Politics. They may not be as bad as Chicago, but they are in the top 5 when it comes to Political underhandedness.
