There are many reasons, and substantial evidence, to, altogether, discard their hypothesis. This leaves their current hypothesis inviable; but, they continue to promote it.
If they truly believe there is an imminent threat to the Earth and humans, then why not continue the research to fully characterize the Earth’s system? They have stated that the damage is beyond repair, and the effects of CO2 emmision will have a runaway effect. Shouldn’t they be preparing the infrastructure, machines, devices, food production, water provision, clothing, etc., to ensure our survival? Why the “cap and trade”/Kyoto Protocol bs? Too many inconsistencies, should lead us to believe they are hiding something.

Well, aside from supporting BS, Freeman seems to “get it.” I suppose the opportunity for a “historical moment” must have clouded a lot of people’s minds and judgement.
I have to say, from personal experience, that I definitely agree with the college piece. College is a risk with little payout in comparison to the return and opportunity costs.
Also, now you’re competing with educated people from countries where their college is a fraction of our costs, and they can reasonably accept lower wages than an American graduate.
