Forgive me if I pile on at John Kerry’s expense again. I told you about this incident, but here’s more….
Forget his Sarah Palin “botched joke,” to coin a phrase. The night before he cracked wise about wishing that she, rather than Gov. Mark Sanford, had disappeared, the junior senator was down in D.C. in the Red Sox broadcast booth during their road game against the Washington Nationals.
So, being the baseball fan that he is, Kerry got to talking about the few remaining great old-line parks, like Fenway and Wrigley Field in Chicago: “We thought we were gonna have a Cubby-Sox playoff a few years ago.”
Playoff? Uh, I believe when the champions of the American and National leagues play in October, it’s called the World Series.
Don’t blame me. It’s not my fault that I live in a state with one of the most embarrassing senators in the country.

I feel for you Bob. Cantwell and Murray are contenders in that race as well, but are too incompetent to grab enough power to rival those two.
Bob, yet again you can’t get your facts straight.
You live in a state with two of the most embarrassing Senators in the country.
“Don’t blame me. It’s not my fault that I live in a state with one of the most embarrassing senators in the country.”
I feel for you, Bob. Mine graduated to VP. It could be worse for you, yours could have been Prez. Shudder.
>> one of the most embarrassing senators
Two Bob, TWO! They are almost as embarassing as their voters.
Hey! Wouldn’t that be a great new sporting event: Senatorial Gaffe Playoffs.
He’s practicing to be Biden.
Chill, Bob! Read a few episodes from “Day by Day Cartoon” and everything suddenly makes sense. It’s like surreal, man.
And now back to reality, in three, two, one, …
Oh, God! Is that fire emanating from his eyes? Those are evil eyes! Maybe Gore can blow, and blow, and blow evil Kerry away.
Let’s try that again, in three, two, one, …
WTF!? The House just passed “Cap and Trade”? Maybe if I click my heels several times, and …
Nope… Still down the rabbit hole…
And good night to those who retain a firm grasp on reality.
Yes… I am still laughing.
