I have developed a relationship with what started as a dear dear friend from Argentina. It began very innocently as I expect many of these things do, just casual email back and forth. But here recently this last year developed into something much more.

The Republican Party will be fine, Mitt Romney is probably giddy on the inside, Sarah Palin’s stock has increased exponentially, and Keith Olbermann is rewriting his “Worst Person in the World” segment for tonight.
And we have one less cheatin’ scumbag to derail the process had this come out later.
I haven’t checked into this guys political ideology yet, but if he thinks like we do, I’d give him a pass. I believe he went to tell the woman he was stopping the affair, no?
More than ever we need the right ideology in office.
Not like your J. Edwards, B. Clinton, or even JFK whose affairs were NEVER reported on…. talk about media love….
I can’t express how appalled I am by this. I so looked up to the man for his conservative views and now am bouncing around between feeling betrayed,sick to my stomach, empty and angry. Up to this point I was proud to have voted for him and stood behind his decisions. I felt he had a future, but he chose to gum it up. If he resigns (which right now I think he should), we’ll have Andre “lead-foot” Bauer running the state.
Oh well, we still have Jim DeMint working for the Palmetto state.

oh stop. Anyone is capable of it. Not that it’s right. Sometimes it’s a lapse in judgement.
Was his apology sincere?
Does his conservative ideology not matter?
he shouldn’t resign – that’s the problem. Repubs keep doing that but the Dems don’t resign when they screw up.
I’m not in favor of what he did or approve of it but we’re talking about politics here and the future of the US. AND we need everyone we can get who is conservative.
If you are republican and run on family values, you had better be squeaky clean or be extemely clandestine. Liberal don’t have to worry about this because they have no values, especially anything relating to family ones. I still can’t believe how stupid this guy is. But I can say that I thought he was cheating when I heard that stupid tale. Affairs make otherwise intelligent people act like complete idiots. Anytime you let the other head make decisions, look out! I may get screamed at or have my things dumped in the yard, but that’s it. On this level, particularly one who is conservative, someone is always looking to get you. I think these people in power, though I understand they get options most of us will never know, get such an ego that they think they are too smart for anyone. Liberals, on the other hand, will have the protection of the media. I still remember them sitting on Lewinsky and having to get scooped by Drudge to admit it.
I want to investigate the woman.
Because I am wondering if she is an agent provacateur, sent to perform a mission, which succeeded.
