America Joins The Third World

USA: Third World versionI think it inarguable that the United States of America in no way resembles what it was prior to January 20th. As gloomy as the economy was then and as flaky as John McCain could be, with Sarah Palin by his side there’s no way he’d have made the same decisions Barack Obama has. Those decisions have been reckless, irresponsible, and with around 42 months to go, there’s so much more that can be permanently ruined… possibly by design.

During a recent speech to the American Medical Association (AMA), he said: “What accounts for the bulk of our costs is the nature of the healthcare delivery system.” Translation: “I don’t like this entire US system and plan to trash it.” He then said: ‚”We spend vast amounts of money on things that aren’t necessarily making people any healthier.” Translation: ‚“I know how to manage healthcare better than doctors. Besides, I not only want a piece of this action, I want it ALL!”

There was a piece a couple of weeks ago that asked if Obama was crazy? That’s a bit over the top, but I do believe he’s a narcissist squared as every speech is about him. Regardless of whom is uploading the words into the teleprompter, Barack Obama has to have some common sense. He has to realize the damage he’s doing to our country under the guise of fixing things. If he does and is still moving on, he could be crazy. If he doesn’t know what he’s causing, crazy is still the better option.

    Lawsuits…..

Maybe we should get rid of the Lawyers

The statement is a bald-faced lie. Regulation and litigation is what truly accounts for the bulk of the costs. Litigation because our Justice system has turned into a Legal system…one that is routinely exploited by lawyers for their financial benefit (and power).

hussein is the product of a kenyan national and a post nationalist.
    what else would you expect?
    he hates america.
    he’s not american.
his approval rating is well over 50%.
that says more about america than it does about hussein.

I just got into an argument with an older guy about this the other day. He thinks the way to improve the medical system is to cap all doctor’s paychecks at 150,000 per year… he also went through the whole bs of “all doctors are in it just to make fast money”….

I called him on the bs and told him if he wanted to get the costs down he needed to deal with the LAWYERS, not the doctors. I work with some of the most committed, dedicated doctors in the world. At our inner-city county hospital, nobody is getting rich. In addition, I know more than a handful of patients who have had their medical care paid for directly BY the pediatricians caring for them! (Sat down with some of the residents once and figured out what their per hour salary was… yeah, the annual sounded not bad for someone new in the field, but when you factored in the hours worked it came out to about $3 an hour!)

I am so sick of the slams on our healthcare system. No, it’s not perfect, but damnit, nothing being discussed will make it better… if anything it will make it worse. Since when did eliminating competition ever improve ANYTHING???

Our admittedly flawed health care system is not suffering because 8 million, 20 million, 40 million, whatever million people don’t have health insurance, and the government is supposed to provide the money for their insurance out of thin air.

It suffers because it is run by a bunch of fascist medical boards and government agencies who have seized the authority to dictate what doctors can do with their own property, their own degree, and their own knowledge and thoughts; and if they don’t bow down and worship, they lose their government-authorized license. Everyone who doesn’t wear the holy white coat (ie chiropractors, naturopaths) and worship the AMA and the FDAholes, must be some kind of heathen witch doctor. The frauds called “quack watch” and their lawyers see to it that any doctor that thinks for him/herself is destroyed. So yes, government education, government interference of free market competition, and government protection of incompetence, are keeping people sick.

That being said, I know some wonderful MD’s and DO’s who I have seen and continue to see occasionally because they actually think about my health, instead of just offering a drug for a corresponding symptom. I like doctors that think for themselves don’t bow down to the god of bureaucracy.

I don’t have health insurance and I don’t really want it. It has become an over-regulated monster enterprise that insists on being the middle man for every transaction between me and whatever healthcare professional I see.

This utterly stupid idea of universal healthcare is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline, which seems to be the way the government usually operates, at least when controlled by incompetent liberals. Of course, calling them incompetent is really a nice way to put it, since the other choice is that they DO realize what they’re doing and they DO have malicious intentions.

  8. JR Says:

And I might add, if I were in a car wreck and had some bad injuries, I wouldn’t want to be in any other country for health care than the USA.
