Bonehead Of The Day
Many had style issues with former White House press secretaries Mike McCurry and/or Ari Fleischer, but at least they acted in a professional manner. Current Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs is a lot like his boss: arrogant, flippant, and an um-mer. Like the vice president, Gibbs can also be a bit of a loose cannon.
Responding to criticism from former President George W. Bush, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said President Obama’s victory last year was a repudiation of Bush’s policies.
In a speech this week, Bush came off the sidelines for the first time since the beginning of the Obama administration to lob criticisms at Obama for his economic policies and his decision to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Gibbs said Thursday that many of those policies were debated during last year’s election.
“We kept score last November, and we won,” Gibbs said.
Quotes have a funny way of being recycled and coming back full circle. Let’s see how the American people keep score in 2012 after four historic years of Barack Obama.

In 2012 they will probably vote in Elmer Fudd, as they’ve already had enough of Daffy Duck. It couldn’t be anything different, as we already have Loony Tunes Characters in Congress! The Libs will have to be vewy, vewy kwiet or old Elmer might mistake them for Wabbits & shoot them (he enjoys hunting Wabbits!).

As I watched the news conference unfold I just knew in advance that he would say those words. You could see it coming in his facial expression.
