Pic Of The Day
A DRUNKEN Cambridge University student staggers home after a wild party – dubbed Suicide Sunday – ended with revellers collapsing and throwing up. Passers-by were shocked and disgusted after a notorious end-of-exams party lived up to its reputation with students binge drinking.
Imagine if your daughter’s pic was plastered all over the country’s newspapers and Internet? Definitely one of those proud parenting moments.

This is one of the reasons I am glad I never had kids….

This is one of the reasons that I didn’t mind when some of my kids chose alternate courses for their lives like going into the florist and getting a massage therapist license, neither of which required college.
The one college student we raised, who had been the quiet bookworm type, ended up being the party type in less than a year, and ended up delaying graduating due to her choices. She’s done well now, but the climate was not condusive to learning when she was barely 20. Had much more inclination to get that degree later. in her late 20’s for sure.

CS Lewis called the future for his campus correctly.
Prophetic.

Money well spent.
Their parents must be proud to have raised a new generation of regressives.
MarlaZ, Trishmac:
Not all educated “children” become regressives. There is an open question as to its cause. Is it sourced from nature, nurture, or something else.
The fact that many people progress in life from a regressive state, is indicative that regressiveness is related to immaturity, both moral and mental.

Both of my Daughter’s had better judgment than that. They realized that you are judged by the company you keep & if you make a fool of yourself it can later bite you in the ars. Both women are professionals with a good position, benefits & retirement plan. My wife was the disciplinarian & I was her backup. Since we had horses, the girls learned responsibility at an early age & we rode as a family. Everything was a team effort & they learned hard work had its rewards.
My wife & I are extremely proud of them & the men they married (best friends). Now that they have their own Children, we are still a big part in their life & they in ours.

Excellent! A party to the soluton.
Accepting reponsibility does seem to be the best, proven approach to ensure we mature and progress, as well as gain appreciation for life and all this world has to offer.
