Sotomayor Leaves Out Death Penalty Memo
I thought judges, of all people, would come prepared. It appears Judge Sonia Sotomayor didn’t follow directions, then again maybe she didn’t feel as though she needed to take orders from intellectually inferior white males….
The Judicial Confirmation Network (JCN) says Judge Sonia Sotomayor failed to disclose to the Senate Judiciary Committee a controversial document arguing that the death penalty is “racist” and a violation of the present “humanist” thinking of society.
The 1981 memo, they say, should have been disclosed as required under Question 12 (b) of the questionnaire that the Supreme Court nominee turned in Thursday.
“It is . . . clear that (Sotomayor) has omitted controversial material from her past in which she asserts that capital punishment is associated with evident racism in our society and advocated public opposition to restoring the death penalty in New York state,” JCN Counsel Wendy Long wrote to the committee.
Is it me, or do liberals have this instinctive tendency to hide their true motivations from the public, especially when they have the power to implement those motivations in our lives, without our knowledge and/or consent?

No, no, no! It’s just you, you wicked hate-monger! Everyone knows that “liberals” are all sweetness and light — do not the “liberals” constantly tell us so?

Reminds me of the story I heard as a child about a thief who went to confession, knowing the priest would tell him to make restitution as an act of penance. So the thief confessed, “I stole a rope.”
But the priest was shrewd and asked, “What was it tied to?”
Depending on the storyteller, it was either a cow or a rowboat.

She reminds me of our Jester, who claims to be a consitutional lawyer. It seems neither of them understand the word nor the spirit of the document that guided the establishment of a superior society. She is a moron! Her prejudices overwhelm any good judgement that she may have or does possess. She should not be a judge, let alone a justice in the Supreme Court.
She is the product of a society led by people who exploit their own.
There is good reason why Caucasians emerged as a dominant people throughout the world. They are an example of what is possible when a society values individual dignity. The regression of the Chinese, Muslims, Indians, et al, is the reason for the downfall of their civilizations. America, as our founders envisioned and realized, has provided freedom and opportunity for all. The people who have accepted that gift with graciousness, have demonstrated that they are not simply members of a group, but are individuals that cannot be stereotyped nor suppressed.
It is also worth noting that the West, and America in particular, have generated more wealth, elevated more people, throughout the world, than has ever occurred in history.
So much for her “intellectually inferior white males” deluded rants.
Diversity for diversity’s sake — what a regressive notion.
