Who Decides What’s Right?
In 2004, Rush Limbaugh observed,
Seems to me the focus of the media every time the Democrats lose ask, ‘What’s wrong with America, and what has to happen to get the Democrats back in power?’ Well, what liberals have to do to regain power?
After Republicans lose, that same media gives us valuable advice on how to gain those illusive moderate and ethnic voters, by acting more like liberal Democrats.
Should we be listening to the vaunted, objective media and Beltway punditry and seek to become more “tolerant and inclusive” as they define it, or is the Republican path to reacquisition of power through unapologetic conservatism, moderates be damned?
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

The Republican party has to set itself apart as distinct from and supportive of the conservative values held by conservative Americans.
Back to constitutional republic, small government, less intrusion, fewer give-away programs, fewer and smaller taxes levied against those who work for a living. Let small businesses thrive, get rid of unions and stupid restrictive anti-biz laws.
It’s so simple and it worked until the greedy lazy dem-backed slobs figured out how to ruin it for those who really worked hard for what they had.

Is it more seemly to merely hold and exercise power, or is it more seemly to hold and exercise power properly and to proper ends?
If the GOP is *merely* about holding and exercising power over the lives of American citizens, then, by all means, go the “moderate” route … and be merely imitation Democrats. But, in that case, what use have any of us for the GOP and its “pragmatism?”
On the other hand, if the GOP is about holding and exercising power properly and to proper ends, then it must be principled, rather than “pragmatic.”

As I have heard discussed more and more, why must Republicans be more tolerant and more inclusive, play fair and play nice? When Democrats disrespect a Republican/conservative, and oh they have done so far more often than vice versa, no one tells them how to behave, no one tells them they will lose votes for their comments, and no one accuses a democrat ever of being intolerant which they most definitely are; intolerant of conservatives, or anyone who disagrees with their social values.
