We were all told by the president that the stimulus package would result in millions of shovel-ready jobs and a boost to the economy. Should that not happen as soon as promised, don’t make a stink. It’s not going to be permitted. So after this, you may not see any criticism here… yeah, right.
A new White House policy on permissible lobbying on economic recovery and stimulus projects has taken a decidedly anti-First Amendment turn. It’s a classic illustration of Big Government trying to control every aspect of a particular activity and in the process running up against civil liberty.
And this present group of socialist Democrats have the hubris to pull it off.
Check out this passage from a post on the White House blog by Norm Eisen, Special Counsel to the President on Ethics and Government Reform (emphasis added):
“First, we will expand the restriction on oral communications to cover all persons, not just federally registered lobbyists. For the first time, we will reach contacts not only by registered lobbyists but also by unregistered ones, as well as anyone else exerting influence on the process. We concluded this was necessary under the unique circumstances of the stimulus program.

Repeat that line to all thoses Obamabots who were all screaming “smear” when we warned the chosen one was going to follow a socialist path.
When are conservatives going to realize that words mean nothing at all to these people?

People on the left live in a dream world. Facts don’t mean anything to them. The only way they will get it, is when they lose their job, can’t pay their car loan, mortgage or buy food. Then they will get it! I have stopped trying to talk with Liberals, as it is like trying to tell an ant not to eat the ant poison & expecting them to understand. They are still living in the hope & change Obama promised them. Obama is like a Proctologist he has stuffed Hope & Change so far up the Liberals asses they need a Pike Pole to get it removed (a pike pole is a Firematic Tool, about 8′ long with a hook on the end).
