"what will it take to get the "democrat race lie" out"

The "minorities" need to speak out. Caucasians are marginalized, and, in particular, male Caucasians are ridiculed and ignored. This despite the history of so-called minorities participating in rape, pillage, and enslavement, including: American Indians, Indians, Arabs, Turks, Persians, Mongolians, "Black" Africans, Egyptians, Chinese, et al.

Until people acknowledge their heritage, and realize that their ancestry is just as blood-stained as the next group, we will not be able to realize the "American dream." We will continue to exploit each other, or allow others to exploit us, for reasons of wealth and power.

The goal is not to be "color blind"; but, to respect each other. We don't have to be friends. We don't have to share our lives, other than by necessity of society or by choice. We need to accept that we are not fundamentally equal; however, we should strive to be better than we are and accept our limitations, imposed by nature or choice.

That said, I am encouraged that there are people of all shapes, sizes, and colors, that "get it". There is hope for a better future. America had a rough start (by necessity); but, it has, and does, offer us the best opportunity to pursue a better life individually and as a society.

It is a bitter irony that Russians now appreciate the principles and lessons which many Americans now ignore. It seems that history must repeat itself, if only to satisfy the ignorance and audacity of each new generation.

As is said, everything old is new again -- for better or worse.

I'm so tired of that apocalyptic crap: Republicans better be nice to Sotomayor, or else; Republicans need to be more than the party of 'No"; Republicans need to go more towards the middle or they're going to be a permanent minority; yada, yada, yada.

The dems gave a shit less about the wonderfully brilliant Janice Rogers Brown...did the black folks strike back? Of course not, the taxeaters amongst them never heard one word about the hearings and wouldn't dare stray from the plantation. The demorats were in the minority for six years, did we hear story after story about how the dems needed to be more than just the party of "NO" (which is exactly what they were), or how they needed to move more to the middle in order to become relevant again. Of course not. The Republicans served-up the vaunted "middle" agent in McCain, and they got their asses waxed for it. And it would have been ten times worse if Palin hadn't dragged so many Conservatives in from staying home. Conservatism works every time, and Steele, et al, better remember that or the Republican party is going to get buried very deeply in the woods.

what will it take to get the "democrat race lie" out into the public enough to swing public opinion in our favor permanently? how is it that we haven't been that strong on getting our message out on civil rights, etc to the public, just allowing the left to dictate what it is and just TAKE the garbage from them?

What will it take to finally topple the left on civil rights, especially considering they committed the ultimate sin of thinking blacks were less than human & created the KKK? the hypocrisy pisses me off to no end....

Tangentally, based on that picture, Rogers-Brown seems to me to be more attractive than Mrs O. But, where were the MSM raves about *her* beauty?

I also remember how they treated Condoleeza Rice. The racist rants and caricatures were some of the most disgusting things I have seen written about public figures. The CBC and NAACP gave a free pass for all of it, too. The type of treatment given to Judge Brown is typicial of especially white democrats. They are just waiting for a green light to begin their vicious accusations and innuendo.

But like you said, Bob, there is no documented racial statements like with Judge Sotomayor. Talk about selective amnesia.
