Obama Admin Legalizes Voter Intimidation

Black Panthers blocking a polling place on 11/4/08 in PhiladelphiaGet ready to see more Black Panther (and the like) greeters at a polling place near you.

Charges brought against three members of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense under the Bush administration have been dropped by the Obama Justice Department, FOX News has learned.

In his affidavit, obtained by FOX News, Bartle Bull (who worked as a civil rights lawyer in the south in the 1960′s and is a former campaign manager for Robert Kennedy) wrote “I watched the two uniformed men confront voters and attempt to intimidate voters. They were positioned in a location that forced every voter to pass in close proximity to them. The weapon was openly displayed and brandished in plain sight of voters.”

He also said they tried to “interfere with the work of other poll observers … whom the uniformed men apparently believed did not share their preferences politically,” noting that one of the panthers turned toward the white poll observers and said “you are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.”

Hey, that’s free speech, y’all.

A spokesman for the Department of Justice told FOX News, “The Justice Department was successful in obtaining an injunction that prohibits the defendant who brandished a weapon outside a Philadelphia polling place from doing so again. Claims were dismissed against the other defendants based on a careful assessment of the facts and the law. The department is committed to the vigorous prosecution of those who intimidate, threaten or coerce anyone exercising his or her sacred right to vote.”

Reality means that statement is bullshit, cracker. That was the term used, correct?

Only Democrats have the right to vote here in Philadelphia don’t ya know? Not that there are many conservatives or Republicans in the city, but those few and far between may as well stay home now.

  2. The Machine says:

So then the left doesn’t really hate the right to keep and bear arms. ‘

If the right belongs to leftist hoods.

    Got it.

  3. Eric says:

I still find it funny that they didn’t try that in texas as the description of their actions would allow someone to legally shoot them here.

    @Eric

I was thinking the same thing when I first heard about this incident last fall.

“The department is committed to the vigorous prosecution of those who intimidate, threaten or coerce anyone exercising his or her sacred right to vote.”

Of course the unfortunate Irony here is that the lawyers are now the ones being indimidated.

Ok, this is kind of lame:

    Houston, we have achieved regression.

I may be cynical; but, such tactics have not been necessary in SLC. Voting occurs by people of all shapes, sizes, and colors, without nary an incident. What is wrong with the people in the “city of brotherly love”? Is it nature, nurture, or, perhaps, a spiritual shortcoming.

The UhhhBama Administration is succeeding in their attempt at reviving racial tensions and building class warfare

I’ve got to be honest and say that I’m getting just a little bit scared to be a white woman.

Another great example of the MSM, or as I like to call them, “Obama’s Bi****s, just ignoring a story like it doesn’t exist. Let’s see, 2 white guys brandishing firearms and talking s**t, the NYT could make a week’s worth of headlines alone. Also, “You are about to be ruled by the Black man, cracker(or cracka)”. So far, Obama aint’ been doing much for the Black man, either.

I take it they don’t have concealed carry permits in Philly. Somehow I just don’t see that behavior playing too well around here (and I’m in the burbs).
