I know it may be conveniently construed as juvenile, but what’s good for the goose should be good for the gander. Thanks to the partisan “smearing” of SCOTUS nominees Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas, let alone numerous Republican appointments, just where do they go to get their reputations back?

So, as usual, the right is expected to show the respect and civility they routinely deny any conservative Republican, let alone a Supreme Court pick.
I’ll tell you what: should the far left EVER show any kind of respect for a Republican, then of course, it should be returned. Until then, Sonia should be Sotomayor’d for her past comments alone and endure the scruitiny those comments deserve. If it gets ugly, so be it.
The left redefined the rules, and now they have to play out the game.

Anita Hill’s remarks, which became such a public (I made sure to spell it right) discussion on sexual harassment, put the fear of God into many men I know. The comment was fairly innocuous, I think we can safely say that far more sexist remarks were being aired on Laugh-In and other TV shows. However, my friends could tick off (some, on all of their digits) times when they’d said or did at work, what could suddenly be considered inappropriate, based on her allegation!
And, look at how liberal SNL members treat/ed people like Palin?

strange how the HuffPo will say she’ll get smeared by the MSM, especially after the MSM smeared us last year..I find it hard to believe this Sotomayor lady will get smeared..more like a free ride more or less.
I predict nothing bad will be mentioned, except possibly for the ‘appearence’ of a rigid hearing, and she will soar right into the court.
