He has nothing to lose in this. Everyone that could hate him already does. But he does not need approval like Obama does and will state his case with conviction because he had to go through all the thoughts and emotions of setting the policy. The government's FIRST priority is safety of its citizens. Yes, it's obvious, but tell that to Obama. Cheney is retired,probably near death’s door. He has nothing to lose in this.
