    Bob, I’m surprised you can bring yourself to read Maureen Dowd. Reading Dowd is like reading a news column from a cartoon universe, written by a cheap imitation of Sam Spade.

    She called Cheney “dastardly” and “The Bushies plied their dark arts in broad daylight.” All that’s missing is a photo of Cheney twirling his mustache as a train approaches “stylish grandmother” Pelosi as she lies tied on the railroad tracks.

    After today, I have decided that I’m not reading comments except for your site and a few others. I made the mistake of reading comments on the state sovereignty article and my blood pressure is going up; quite a few commenters think that education, parks & recreation, and roads & drains are all the gift of federal government to the “red” states!
