Jon always struck me as kind of a weak-sister.

who are these people and why should I care?

It would be easy to say that Kate was the problem, but the REAL problem is that their life is a TV show, which undoubtedly makes it very difficult to work out any marital problems.
Case-in-point: Because of the cameras, Jon is pretty much forced to submit to Kate’s abusive attitudes.

Again, my lack of knowledge of pop culture leaves me puzzled. I have no idea who these people are. Hopefully there is no reason why I should strive to find out.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who doesn’t know who these people are.
I keep seeing their faces on magazines in the checkout line and see a few headlines on the web about him cheating on her or something.
But I unplugged my t.v. a while back. I’m assuming these people are on some kind of reality show or something? I guess I should know who they are. I keep seeing their picture everywhere.

I, too, have no idea who these people are.

But then, I’ve been unplugged from TV-land since about 1975.

Same here. I heard the title of the show a few weeks ago from a co-worker, I think. I thought it was a new band.

Yes, by God, turn off the TV set!
Me three (or is it four now?) concerning whoever the hell these people are supposed to be.
Educational Television:
If you really want your children to learn something from the TV, turn it around facing the wall, unplug the AC power cord and remove the screws and back cover.
Let ‘em stare at the components and part numbers.
They’ll learn something.

You are missing one option on your poll Bob.
Don’t give a crap.

Chalk me up as one whose give-a-sh*t meter is pegged at zero. And I don’t even have to dispose of my TV to not see this stuff (How else would I get Fox news?)
