Stifling Conservative Speech Lawfully

radio micWe knew they’d find a way to do “Fairness” without saying “Fairness”, by any means necessary…

The acting chairman of the Federal Communications Commission has told members of a “diversity” committee who almost exclusively represent left-leaning organizations to tackle the status quo in America’s broadcast industry and suggest “aggressive” solutions to what they see as problems.

According to The O’Leary Report, published by author Brad O’Leary, author of “Shut Up, America!: The End of Free Speech,” the FCC’s “Diversity Committee,” headed by “Fairness Doctrine,” supporter Henry Rivera, has begun its work.

The report said the committee made it clear at a meeting yesterday its members will force President Obama’s supporters into positions of power within the broadcast industry.

One would assume that this not making it through the Supreme Court (as a First Amendment violation) would be a slam dunk. But given the possible “living Constitution” judicial selections President Obama may make, there should be cause for concern.

This is one of the reasons I am going podcast Bob. We may get no guaranteed audience, but we also don’t have to put up with FCC bullshit.

The bandwidth via the Internet can just as readily be regulated as bandwidth via the air.

“Cybersecurity Act would give president power to ‘shut down’ Internet”
    (April 13, 2009) — 2009, so you know it’s a regressive agenda.

This Act even has the liberals (eff.org) concerned. Furthermore, this is not the only legislation or executive regulation which could effectively terminate our last bastion of exchange.

Just as when they exported manufacturing jobs, so-called “blue-collar” jobs, and we waited until they exported “white-collar” jobs, shifting to another venue will be insufficient to protect us.

United we stand, divided they win.

Yeah, I was just about to comment on Obama wanting the ability to shut down the internet.

Doesn’t want opposition to his almighty word.

He is not limited to “shutting down” the Internet. He has already shown willful disdain for the law, as demonstrated in his treatment of financial institutions, Chrysler, GM, etc. — he won, debate over.

    The Machine:

There is no communication medium today, that connects so many people, in so many places, as does the Internet. It must be protected and remain open to everyone. Although, we could resort to shortwave as an Internet-lite, limited though it may be, in the worst case scenario.
