So, let me get this straight. Michael Savage isn’t good enough to go to Britain, but the same twit calling him a hater conveniently forgot that these things go both ways…

Sixteen people banned from entering the UK were “named and shamed” by the Home Office today. The list of the 16 “least wanted” includes radio talk show host Michael Savage, real name Michael Weiner.

“This is someone who has fallen into the category of fomenting hatred, of such extreme views and expressing them in such a way that it is actually likely to cause inter-community tension or even violence if that person were allowed into the country,” Home Secretary Jacqui Smith told BBC Breakfast.

Yo, Jacqui… what was your take on your countryman Russell Brand’s comments here in the states about one of our presidential candidates?

Never afraid to be politically controversial (a formerly crack-addled Brand was fired from British MTV for showing up to work on September 12, 2001 dressed as Osama Bin Laden), the comedian called President Bush a “retarded cowboy” who “wouldn’t be trusted with a pair of scissors,” then dismissed the teen pregnancy of Sarah Palin‘s daughter as a “PR stunt.” Now, Brand is telling the UK’s Daily Telegraph that he had one even more outrageous Palin joke in that vein, but MTV wouldn’t let him tell it:

“I had John McCain gags pulled. And they asked me to tone down the gags about Sarah Palin. I wanted to say she was forcing her teenage daughter to have a baby because she is so anti-abortion.

“But also, as a Republican she is pro-execution so she is going to give her the electric chair for being a little slut.

“They weren’t keen on that one.”

Hell, let’s pile on!

Home Secretary Smith, with all due remaining respect, maybe you should concentrate on the hate speech coming from some of your politically correct-protected areas, and if you dare, take a listen to Michael Savage before you spout off in ignorance.
